Good fit for my kid

Works great, but does not function is the kid mode they offer on the youth models. Holds charge and does accurate readings. Setting up on device was not smooth, but that was partially because I was trying to set up in kids mode. Because she is a child we had to set up as a profile for me, but imagine sooner or later they will enable the lite watches to use parental mode

The battery dies and no amount of charge will revive it. Do they program this to happen with firmware updates, or what? If this watch dies within the next year or two, I will not purchase another Fitbit product.
