The Fitbit Versa is the best smartwatch I have owned and let me tell you why. I have owned it now for 8 months and have put it through a pretty good test drive. I am one of those people that leave it on 24/7. I hardly ever notice it's there and love that it is light and does not make my wrist sweat. I have had other smart watches in the past including Fossil and Samsung gear. What I did not like about the Fossil is that it was circular in design and kinda big. Plus I was worried about getting it wet or doing any kind of workout with it. My problem with the Samsung gear was that when I would get a notification it would send it to my watch and I would see it and then "dismiss" the notification only to pull out my phone later and see that the same notification was still there. It would make me think that I missed a text or a phone call when in fact I hadn't. It was annoying that I had to clear the notification twice. And again it was circular in design. With the Versa it is still compatible with my galaxy phone and it does dismiss notifications if I want it to. I can also do short pre typed messages. I shower with this watch on everyday and it has showed no signs of the water affecting it. Other than that I have recently swam with it on for more than an hour at a time. I swam in a warm pool and a very hot jacuzzi. I also spent a lot of time in a steam room. Non of these things have affected the performance of the watch in any way that I can tell or measure. I have also enjoyed this latest update that they did, it cleaned up the look of things and gave me more info that i could look at from my watch. I also like the period tracker app that they have on the Fitbit app. I am a man, but I am married to a beautiful woman. I like how my watch will tell me when "my period" is about to start so that I can be on the lookout and get some chocolates when they are needed. For any women reading this, you can also edit your period duration and log symptoms or if you are trying to get pregnant it will tell you when you are most likely ovulating. The other features on this watch are really great. It has an alarm clock and an interval timer and it even has little workouts that it will guide you through. I think what I would suggest to anyone that is on the fence about this watch is, buy it from Bestbuy and try it out for 14 days. You can return anything to Bestbuy within 15 days and get a full refund for that product. So you can use that time to decide if you want to keep it. Oh and one more thing. I really like the bands and the fact that they are so easy to switch out for any type of occasion. Thanks for reading my review and I hope this helps!

    Worthy opponent for Apple Watch

I had a Fitbit back when they first came out and really liked the interface even back then. I eventually changed to an Apple Watch (1st Series) because I was tired of wearing a watch on one wrist and step counter on the other, and wanted to combine them. The Apple Watch worked great, but I didn't like the Health App as much as the Fitbit steps interface. In this first attempt at a "Smartwatch", Fitbit did a great job. While it might not have all the functionality of the Apple Watch, it does everything I need it to do - counts steps, tracks exercise, receives text messages and alerts. It's also very nice looking and I've gotten quite a few compliments about it. A full charge will normally last me about 2 days, and the charging is quick and easy. Have had it for about a month now with no complaints whatsoever. If you want mega-functionality, I would recommend Apple (for Iphone) or Samsung (for Android) smart watch options. But if you are simply looking for a very nice, high quality, user-friendly smart watch, then I highly recommend the Versa!

I have been using a Fitbit Charge 2 every day for the past year or so, and I have been extremely happy with it. The rest of the family are now using Apple Watches having upgraded from the Fitbit Alta HR, but I don't feel the need to have my iPhone on my wrist and I'm very happy with the Fitbit ecosystem. I finally decided to upgrade to the Versa. The watch itself does not disappoint. I love the quality of the display and the ease of use. I don't want notifications so I don't use those, and I use my phone and wireless headphone for my music, but everything else about the Versa is great. I did have quite a few frustrations involving the very buggy bluetooth connection to my iPhone at first, but I was finally able to figure out what I think was causing the issues, and pairing has been working well and consistent the past couple of weeks. What keeps this from being a solid 5 star product is that I can't believe such a technological watch such as the Versa is basically using a similar watch strap system probably developed in the late 1800's. Changing the watch band is not easy, and makes the band feel fairly flimsy. The Charge and Alta's have a much better system for the changing of the bands. Once I changed the band on the Versa, I definitely don't feel like I want to go through that again unless I have to because of a failed band. Other than that, I couldn't be more happy with this over the Apple Watch - at least for what I use it for - a fitness tracker.

I have had my Fitbit Versa for two years, after receiving it as a Christmas gift. It is easy to use, and I love that it alerts me when I have a text, call, or email, especially when I may not be able to look at my phone. Keeping tabs on my activities is easy to do, and I appreciate how it's reported in the Fitbit app, along with sleep and heart rate. I have not had any issues with my watch in two years, with charging, tracking, or otherwise. I highly recommend Fitbit, and would not hesitate to purchase another.

Great watch for just fitness & alerts. I don’t need all the bells and whistles of an Apple Watch I had one and did not like it. I love the fact that it’s waterproof, easy to use, the sports band, screen is just right size for my wrist & display is bright. I love that I can put a personal picture as a clock face display. Phone/text alerts are nice (just like Apple) but you cannot respond or answer, which I’m ok with. I just wanted easy & simple and Fitbit got it right for me. I love it!!

Purchased this for my wife who recently decided she wanted to start keeping better track of her activities. We upgraded from the CHARGE HR because she didn't like how it felt when she was wearing it. She is very happy with the look, feel and overall functionality of the Versa. Once she figured out the basics, she was ready to go.

Bought this watch to track my fitness as well as my heart rate and steps at work. It’s a decent smart watch for the price point and easy to use and set up. Pros: easy set up, sleek look Cons: Screen doesn’t stay awake long enough had to find a solution for it( niche problem since I work in healthcare)

I find the Fitbit Versa to be easy to use. It is easy to change the watch face. I found a watch face that has the day, month and date and it changed quickly and easily, and so far, has kept time accurately. The heart rate monitor is accurate. I find it easy to turn apps on & off, and change which days I want to receive a wake-up alarm. It's comfortable to wear and in my opinion, it charges quickly, if the battery isn't too low. Even at 25% charge, I was satisfied with the length of time it took to charge the battery to 100%. I do not have music on my Versa and do not have it linked to my phone or other devices. The rose gold case is very subtly colored. At first I thought the peach colored band was a little bright, but after wearing the Versa for several days, I like the color. The Fitbit app has a small learning curve, but I'm able to use it without much trouble. Sometimes it takes several attempts to get the first Sync of the day to run, but after that, it functions well. I'm considering buying a second Versa in the same colors, to be sure I always have a tracker that I like and is easy to use.

Bought the watch for my husband for Father’s Day. He is technically challenged but is able use use the watch with no problems. He loves it. The only TJ e he takes it off is to charge it. Wears it in the shower, wore it to the beach and pool with no issues.

The watch great, easy to use and set up. The only problem I've encountered is sometimes it has problem connecting with the fitbit app and updating your daily stats. My husband has the same watch and has experienced the same problem.
