Decided to return to fitbit when they came out with this watch. Love the sleekness, style and fit. Love the features and hope they will continue to provide upgrades.

    Died

I loved my fitbit. It did everything I wanted with the exception of texting, talking and my personal music. My watch was less than a year when it just died. Thought maybe a bad charger so went to best buy, bought another charger and nope, that wasn't the problem. My watch was dead. We called fitbit and low and behold this was a problem so BUYER BEWARE. They said they would give us $75 off a new one or they could send us a refurbished one. We asked if the warranty would start over if we purchased a replacement? They said no. So we took the refurbished one. 2 mos later and surprise surprise, it died. So here it is, a year after the original purchase and 2 watches dead. Oh and did i mention the replacement was just the watch. No wrist band, no charger. My husband has a Garmin that is 5 years old and works perfect. I will NEVER get another fitbit.

    It was nice until...

I really wanted to like it, at first I did but after 3 days wearing it someone notice something i didn't. I have a fidgeting problem and one day I was resting my hand on top of my leg while it was moving and my friend notice it was counting steps while i was sitting down!!! I was so disappointed because I really like how light it was and most of the time I couldn't feel the watch on me. The displace is a nice size and very well done how appealing it looked. I loved how it gives tips and inspirations. I like how it record my sleep but most of the time the app would record wrong or won't count correctly also I couldn't put music because I don't have windows or mac so if you have a Chromebook you're out of luck!. so 3 importing things I normally use are either not accurate or impossible to use. the only thing i love is the way it looks and feels as well how it lasted 3 days without charging. I will consider it once they improve and surpass Samsung gear watches. meanwhile I will go back to Gear fit 2 pro for now. but if you don't care about the step count and have a mac or window laptop this will be a great watch for you.

    No more Protection Plan!

Honestly, I really did like this watch. I never used the music, but I liked the simplicity of it. You can see important stuff on the main screen, and its so easy to learn! The reason why im giving it a 2 star is because recently the heart rate stopped working. I tried to update it to see if that was the problem, i read a lot of forums onlin and tried multiple things. Nothing worked, but no big deal really, i purchased the insurance with best buy when i bought it, so i could easily return and get a new one. When i went to return it the workers told me that Fitbit is no longer letting Best Buy customers buy the insurance for the FitBit. Therefore, if this were to happen again, i would be out 200 dollars.

    Step Count

I had purchased the watch yesterday and by evening I noticed that the steps shown are more than what I took. This is a real issue if you are focusing on tracking. Calories burned also shows with out any steps. Did not expect this from FITBIT

    At first, BUT THEN...

I used the Fitbit versa for a little over one year. When I got it, I loved it. I did everything I needed it to do and did it well. I began having issues when I went swimming, which caused the battery to short out. This occurred within the one year manufacturers warranty, so Fitbit replaced the watch. The second watch had many issues from syncing, heat rate sensor not working, and again not water resistant although one of the advertising features and functions of the watch is to track swimming as an exercise. The replacement also gave me problems with shorting out. I am not going to buy another Fitbit again because they simply do not last and are not worth the amount of money they ask for.

For the price, this is an okay watch. I did like the fitness and sleep features. I ended up returning it for something more user friendly. You can't run the exercise app and try to go into any other apps at the same time. The Fitbit app itself is buggy and slow.

    Keeps losing WiFi connection

I’ve had this for a few months and was thrilled with it at the beginning. But in the last month, I’ve had to reset it (and lose all of my data) three times because it won’t sync to any of my devices, and is not linked to WiFi. What’s worse is that when it finally did connect again, it was totally random and I have no idea what I did that got it to work. I just reset it to factory settings on Sunday and it’s Thursday and it’s not syncing again. I’ve had two Fitbit Charges and one Alta and I’ve never had theses problems. Would definitely not recommend this product.

I loved my Versa when it was working. Was it perfect? No. But you got a rough idea on sleep, steps, etc. I had some issues with texts messages coming through but overall I loved the watch. BUT a $200 Fitbit is no good when it dies one year and one week after you purchase it! Fitbit said it’s been over a year and they’d discount me a new Fitbit. How generous of them, like I’d spend more money on a Fitbit after I just wasted $200 on one. No thanks! So if you want the Versa I highly recommend spending the money in insurance.

    Dont waste your money

I was not really happy with the watch when I first got it. I have had three Pebble watches and hoped when they bought and killed Pebble they would have used all the good stuff from that watch. They didn’t. After having the Versa for a couple months I dropped it. It fell about 2 feet and landed on the watch face. The “gorilla glass” disintegrated. When I called Fitbit to see if I could pay to get the glass replaced they told me no. They didn't do that. So a $200.00 watch is instantly a piece of trash if you break the glass.

    CRACKED GLASS

I liked this watch at first and loved the overall look and function of it. We really enjoyed it for our runs and workouts. I bought a versa for both my husband and I for Christmas. The glass cracked on his watch within 3 months. Mine cracked within 4 months.... I used a fitness watch from Samsung for 3+ years before this one and NEVER cracked the glass once on that one. Versa couldn't even make it 6 months so pretty PO about that. Spend the extra money and buy a better quality watch! These are a waste of money.

I purchased the Fitbit Versa in April of 2018. It quit working in September, the screen went black and wouldn't come back on. Fitbit replaced it. The replacement watch quit working in February, the screen froze and then it quit working/ wouldn't charge. A few days ago (July) same issue. I am beyond the warranty, so they offered me a 25% discount on a new Fitbit. Why would I spend another $150 on a device that will likely quit working? I purchased a Samsung. Don't waste your money like I did.
