Love the style, some inaccuracies
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the look and how light this Fitbit is. Tracks steps well. I like that you can reject calls. Wish there were short SMS responses. My biggest complaint is the sleep monitoring is awful. Says every night I get 1 to 3 hours of sleep which I know is wrong. I contacted Fitbit and they were no help. It’s disappointing that the sleep feature doesn’t work.

Watch Great, App Kills Battery
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the new Versa watch after living with the Blaze for over a year. I like the added features and integrated apps for my Hue lighting and the watch is a lot more stylish and doesn't catch on my sleeve like the Blaze did. My complaint is that the Android apps preference for All-day syncing and GPS connectivity KILLS the battery on my phone. I hope they update the app soon so I can go back to all-day between charging my phone.

Buyer Beware
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really really REALLY want to like this! Truly I do! I have been using different types of FitBit devices for the last several years...so, I wanted to love this Versa...but it has kind of fallen flat... List of Issues (Pros and Cons): 1. Steps/Pedometer (BIG ISSUE): This one really sucks because it causes a lot of problems with the overall quality of this product. This device is supposed to track your steps but it doesn't...it calculates your steps based on your movement. Maybe it is designed to count your steps, but the design sucks and isn't working as it is intended to work which makes this product kind of suck. This is definitely a product flaw (and most FitBits have this major flaw) and it is what causes the massive discrepancy in the overall quality/accuracy of this product! The more you move, the more steps its counts, the more steps it counts, the more calories you burn...etc. (I think you kind of get the flaw here) Granted, calories are also based on your beats per min and active minutes, not just how many steps you take, but because all of the parameters being tracked depend on the steps as part of their equation, it throws off the balance/accuracy of a lot of other things. Let me define movement here...the movement it tracks as steps can be something as subtle as moving your arm across your body to scratch yourself or driving down a bumpy road...or moving your hands on your steering wheel while you drive!! Any type of movement that makes your watch move, even if your watch is not on your wrist, can potentially count it as movement/steps. This is exceeding frustrating when you are laying down in bed, watching tv for 30 minutes and somehow you walked 145 steps in that time! Since your movement is being counted towards your steps, you kind of miss out on a true representation of your overall activity. Say you are looking at a long term goal, you are trying to be more active over time, or you are trying to hit 12,000 steps per day, this flaw will totally screw up these types of goals. You will never be able to get a true representation of those types of goals because of the massive discrepancy in your movement/steps counter. 2. Distance: This is another thing that is completely off balanced. I have several FitBits (as I stated, I've been purchasing them for several years...you'd think i'd learn right?!!?) and I have put two of them on at the same time while I've gone out for a hike to see if they track everything correctly. I know for a fact that the hike I went on was 1.25 miles...my Versa stated I walked 2.45 mi and my Inspire stated it was 2.12mi. Same hike, same body, totally different distances. The steps were completely off as well on both devices. Again, I think this goes back to the movement issue as stated above which is probably why it uses steps as a means of calculating distance....which means it is completely inaccurate! On a side note, just the other day I played VR Beat Saber for an hour and my Versa told me walked 4500 steps and traveled 1.95mi even though I was standing in approximately the same spot during that entire an hour.... 3. Beats Per Min (BPM): This is probably one of the only aspects of the device that I truly like!! I think it gives a good and accurate reading of my BPM...I have not tested this though...I have not personally counted my bpm to compare to what my Versa says but whenever I know I am hitting my peak performances, it is reflecting that on Versa. I think the bpm is a win! 4. Active Minutes The way FitBit measures your active minutes it based on spending at least 10 minutes being active. Their definition of "active" is when you are burning 3 times as many calories compared to when you are rested. So, it you have short bursts of activity like 3 mins of heavy activity, it will not count it towards your active minutes. This is okay...its not a make or break issue for me but I wish it would tell me how many active minutes I have had throughout my entire day, not just when I hit over 10 mins during a single bout of activeness. 5. Fitness Tracker NEVER tracks my fitness...NEVER!!!! I can have a 45 min workout (that I track with the exercise option) at the gym, be on my feet all day, play some VR beat saber at home for an hour and it will be blank! The tracker is bugged and won't track anything I do. I have had to restart my watch to get it to work...it works for a day or so, and nothing...it goes blank. ITs just freaking annoying and I wish it would get fixed! Either that or I got a bad watch and it is broken. I am not sure, but the fitness tracker is entirely useless! It is supposed to track your fat burn, cardio, and peak you have throughout the day and mine doesnt. It never works...yay for me! 6. Exercise This option in the watch allows you to track your exercise. If you go for a run, bike ride, swimming, treadmill, weights, interval timer, and the basic workout. You turn it on when you start exercising, it tracks how you are doing during, and then you end it once you are done. It gives you a mini summary of your working...max bpm, peak, cardio, time, etc. Its okay, it keeps tracks of things, but I wish there were more options. There is not an option for a walk...just a run. Sometimes I go for a run, sometimes I go for a walk...i'd like to be able to differentiate between the two. Although, I can just use "workout" as an option and it will track it...so there is a good work around! Aside from that, most of the other options and features you can get with this product are similar to other smart watches...so there isn't much to tell. The app is good...I actually like the female aspect of things as it tracks your cycle, you are able to put in some specifics of your mood, sexual activity, ovulation, emotional status, etc. that has helped me keep more track of my cycle and my moods/hormones during the month. It has been very helpful!! The last annoying this about this product I do not like...no Spotify connection! Has pandora and other apps you can link but not Spotify which sucks but oh well! So, buyer beware...there are very large and blatant issues with this watch! For the price...I'd consider looking at other options. This is the last time I will purchase a FitBit!

Wife uses every day and loves it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the Versa as a birthday gift to replace my wife’s Blaze, which she also loved. Fitbit has proven to be a great company that stands behind their products (replaced my wife’s Blaze after she forgot to take it off before going into the pool). The Versa is even better and eliminates the possibility of water damage since it is waterproof. She has been wearing it 24/7 other than to charge with no issues in the pool swimming laps or showering with it on.

Good, but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first fitbit and I love the design and size of the smartwatch. I'm getting used to the ecosystem but so far it's fairly easy to use. My only complaint is with the battery. It was advertised as lasting 4 days, i'm getting 1 day only. I've researched this online and it appears to be isolated to a relatively small group of watches and many people have normal results. But so far this is my only complaint.

Beauty and Best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I shortlisted this Versa Special Edition for my wife after a detailed search, comparison and I must say, this is THE best you can buy at this price range. Once you sync your phone with fitbit app, you are all set . Charger is little filthy and seems , may get damaged if not handled delicately. Otherwise, all is well. It comes with another extra set of band ( black ), which is kind of makes sense and it gives a refreshing look in alternate use.

Battery Life drops within a year
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like the Versa but within 9-10 months battery life went from 5-6 days to 2 days max and I don't use any apps on it. Only get text messages. Some difficulty getting updates when prompted. Customer service somewhat lack-luster when contacted about battery issue. Just offered updates as fix, which didn't change anything.

Nice smart watch, lousy app
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice. Easy and comfortable to wear (according to my wife). Clock faces every now and then doesn't load up for some reason and some apps reset or disappear entirely. Battery life is good and durability is fair. Loading music on it is a pain. Need to be able to load music and playlist from the phone.

Nice gift for bae
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice and sleek. Has all the typical smart watch features (NFC, heart rate, etc) while looking pretty stylish with the breathable wrist strap that this one particularly comes with. Also like the fact that it includes the regular strap along with different sizes for both. Battery life usually lasts more than 2 days which is pretty good. Like the lock in charging the dock has too. My GF never leaves it behind.

Really loved this thing, but...
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really did love this watch, but the connectivity and app issues really ruined the fitness tracking. It stopped updating even after multiple resets. Too bad because the sleep tracking and battery life are amazing!

Almost Perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall great watch & fitness tracker. The watch features a bright vivid screen, water & splash proof with a good visible face on display. GPS without the watch is the key the lack is not huge for me but I know it's a difference maker for others. This watch is a good midway casual yet enough features to make a difference in a workout or daily activities.

Super user friendly watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My fiancee and I both have this watch, and we bought another for her daughter as a Christmas gift. Supposed to motivate her, but I'm not so sure about that. Anyway, this watch is awesome! Waterproof and super durable, which is a must for us. Hundreds of different faces to choose from and easily programmable to your needs. I'm not sure how fitbit will be able to top this watch. Super happy so far

Not Bad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Long battery life (4 days on average). Fast syncing with android phones, iPhones take a tad longer. Poor Bluetooth audio quality but could have been my unit. My screen did flop out on me and recently returned the Versa. Luckily I had GSP but was informed that Best Buy no longer offers protection on FitBits. So I’ll wait for something better.
