Great Little Fitness Tracker
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my third fitness tracker, but it's the first that fits comfortably on my wrist. It has many features that you could typically only find on a $300+ watch. The best feature ever (which can be found on a few fitbits but no other brand that I can find) is the watch logs an exercise even if you haven't hit the button for it. This is incredibly amazing because it seemed that no matter how used to my last two trackers I was, I would forget to start an activity on my watch until I'm almost halfway through it. The versa also looks both cute and attractive for more masculine purposes. You can buy different bands that somehow transform it from a fitness watch to a classy-looking one. I also enjoy that I can log my water consumption directly from this watch and see other stats instead of constantly going to my phone. Lastly, the watch comes with apps like relaxation (which I have enjoy using before bed) and even holds a decent amount of music on it. I think the only step up would be an Apple Watch, but you would have to have an iPhone and a desire for your watch to also take your calls.

Love it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is great! Really makes me feel like I am getting the most out of my workout and the most knowledge about how i can do better. I've been wearing it, on day 3 now with 33% battery life! Yay! I just cannot wait to be able to send messages back which I read is supposed to be coming with the next update! Worth it!

Happy Customer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love my Versa SE. Upgraded from the Charge2. The bright colorful screen is easy to read, navigation is easy, setup was somewhat tedious but successful. Some glitchy app associated problems but this should be sorted out shortly with a software update. FitBit Pay has a limited list of participating banks.

Epic Fail Fitbit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I REALLY wanted to love this watch but from the second I turned it on, it left me frustrated.... I ordered both this watch and the Samsung Gear Fit Pro 2 to see which one would work best for what I wanted to use it for (General tracking and text/phone notifications). I powered them both on about the same time. The Gear Fit Pro 2 took literally 5 minutes to set up. Meanwhile, the Fitbit Versa failed to connect to my wifi twice and then I still couldn't download the update after trying to connect via Bluetooth. I am pretty tech savvy person and was unimpressed. The watch was not user friendly to me. There were times when I would get into a screen and couldn't get out of it. It would get hung up and the screen would freeze. The watch bands have to be the biggest disappointment. They don't even fit the watch correctly! It came with the "premium" band and I tried to change it out with the other silicone one that came in the box and after 30 MINUTES of trying to get just one of the bands connected, I gave up and put it back in the box. If you really cannot live without a Fitbit product, I would suggest something else than this watch. If you are open to suggestions, check out the Gear Fit Pro 2! Samsung Health has come a long way! The Gear Fit Pro 2 is SO user friendly and I am loving it!

Great Fitbit Tracket
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had fitbits for the last 6 years. I love this tracker the best. I've tried to upgrade since this watch is no longer being made but it does everything I need it to do. It works great with both the company app as well My Fitness Pal. Wonderful tracker overall.

Difficult to use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I upgraded from the Fitbit Charge2, so had pretty good knowledge how the Fitbit works. First I really liked the looks of the Versa. That is about where it stops. Man you buy this watch and it virtually comes with zero documentation on how it works. WiFi, sure it has it but how do you get it to work. Blue tooth same thing. Sure you can down load music, but what a pain in the butt this is. Can't just do a song or two, have to create a play list then transfer. Add more songs via a new play list and it over writes the songs you have on it. Sometimes it Syncs and other times it won't. Getting it to find and log onto your WiFi is really hit and miss. Technically it's a piece of junk.

Consistently unreliable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This "smartwatch" has been a pretty severe disappointment, and I'm on my second one. The first purchase was completely unreliable in almost every aspect except (ironically) keeping time. It was so bad I will bypass details and move on to the exchanged device I acquired after several days thanks to BestBuy exchange and return policies. The second watch keeps track of steps reliably and the exercise function works as advertised. The sleep monitoring function is consistently unreliable. 95 % of the time it provides detailed sleep stats, but they are only accurate about 90% of the time, and when they miss, they usually miss dramatically. Two out of three weeks will appear to be accurate. Then on week three, six nights a week the android app will show what appear to be very reliable stats, then one night will be absolutely ridiculous. This makes efforts to ascertain real data trends useless. I will occasionally get "basic" stats, these may be attributable to the tightness of the band, and that's understandable, but again when they're wrong, they're very wrong. These issues make sleep stats per week basically useless. And it is absolutely ABSURD that you cannot customize the number of steps per hour you would like to take. Or the time frame in which you would like to perform a certain number of steps per hour. There is no excuse for that lack of customization.

Great overall watch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Versa does everything I need and more. The band is comfortable, the style looks great, the features are not lacking. First time fitbit user and I am getting accurate readings on BPM, Sleep, and exercise. Would highly recommend it over other products.

Inaccuracies
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to love this watch. Really. It has a beautiful design and I didn’t want an Apple Watch because I couldn’t compete with my Fitbit friends. In the beginning, it worked great. I followed all instructions, such as placing on my non-dominant hand, etc. It will not track steps if you are carrying something. You have to drop your hand, shake it, then it will start again. I have contacted fitbit 3 times. They had me do a complete reset, walk 100 steps and wait to see if it counted them correctly, etc. It works intermittently. After I do a complete reset, it will work for a few days and revert back to counting less than half my steps. I am tired of troubleshooting this thing. I’ve had it for several weeks and it’s too expensive for it not to perform properly. I am returning it to the store. Don’t waste your money until they work out the bugs. I shouldn’t have bought one on launch.

Don't buy it! Samsung, Garmin, Apple, anyone else
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review....just don't buy from this broken company. I just bought this, and couldn't update via Wi-Fi. I call customer service, and there is an "issue" updating over wi-fi. I had to do it via Bluetooth. This is a whole operating system update, by the way. Bluetooth is taking 13 hours plus to update, and CS said it may still fail. I am pretty much tethered to my home so my phone can do Wi-fi and so my "new" watch can get the updates from the phone using Bluetooth. If this doesn't work by tomorrow morning, goodbye Fitbit, hello Samsung! Save yourself my frustrations, buy any other fitness wearable but this one!

Major Connectivity Issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Returning mine... I had the original Surge that had the same Bluetooth syncing problem. It would take FOREVER to try to get the watch to connect to my phone through the app - I'd regularly have to restart my phone or watch, uninstall the app, factory reset the watch, etc. 4 years later with the new Versa watch and STILL having the same problem. I've tried all of the official troubleshooting steps (which is always the response from fitbit) AND other solutions that other users like me have been trying. It's ridiculous at this price point that users are expected to constantly have to restart or even factory reset their device because fitbit can't seem to get their app to work. Sorry fitbit, but I've given up.

Battery Life sucks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First I want to say I love Fitbit. I upgraded to the Versa from the Charge 2. The battery life sucked from the beginning. I had the device for 2 weeks and I have had to charge it every 1 to 2 days. Now I understand if I am using it like playing music and it always syncing that will drain the battery. I had hope for this device and I am not giving up
