Customers are saying

Customers admire the Zip Wireless Activity Tracker's ease of use, small size, and accurate step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate its motivational features and find it reasonably priced. However, some users point to inconsistent battery life and a display that can be difficult to read as drawbacks. The limited feature set compared to more expensive models is also a recurring concern.

I first purchased a fitness tracker that went on my wrist but I didn't feel it was accurate. I have a little one so I am usually pushing a stroller or grocery cart, etc. So I felt like I wasn't getting the same results as I do with this tracker that I clip to my pants. I love it! Helps keep me motivated...and fit!

I love my fitbit! It is very easy to setup and set/change daily goals. I love that I can add friends and compete against them. I can taunt them or cheer them on when I am winning. I like that it syncs when I am close to my home computer or I can do it manually with my smartphone. I work from home and the fitbit made me realize the real reason I was gaining weight, most days I was taking less than 3 or 4K steps. Now I am almost always meeting my goal of 8K steps and I am losing weight. I got the two pack so I could cheer on my partner too. We are very pleased with the product!

Fitbit fan and loving the new tracker

I got the original Fitbit Ultra when it came out. It tracked my steps, stair flights, and sleep. I used it religiously until the casing came apart on me. I picked up the new Zip recently to replace my Ultra and really like it. I have greater faith in its "clipping" mechanism - the metal shouldn't fail on me in a year. The Zip doesn't count stair flights like the Ultra did, but since I don't have stairs where I am now, there was no need. The Ultra tracked my sleep and the Zip does not. But I already know I don't get enough sleep :) My steps and activity level were all I needed to track and that makes the Zip perfect for me. I also like that I could get it in a bright color (which is easier to find when I leave it somewhere).

I use the Fit bit daily to track steps. It is so much smaller than my pedometer and is easy to set up and use. Syncs easily to phone or computer. Be sure to input your stride or it won't count accurately!!

I just wanted to count steps. Keep it in my pocket, never have clipped it on belt or elsewhere and it works fine. I found out that 3 of my close friends have Fitbit as well and the friendly competition has helped me keep at my daily goal.

I was looking for a pedometer and read the reviews on Fit Bits and decided it was the brand to get. I wanted a smaller sized one and the Zip is perfect for this. One note of caution - I work outdoors and have knocked it off my belt so make sure to position it in a location that won't get bumped off.

This was a gift for my son who travels a good deal. The fact that he can keep it in his pocket means he keeps it on him each day. He uses it to mark time in airports and when he walks his dogs. It has given him the boost he needed to work off those holiday pounds. We hit "bingo" with this gift!

First two weeks were great. It would sync with my computer without issue. Now the wireless dongle doesn't read my Fitbit so I'm never sure when it will sync or when it won't. It also doesn't track all I do for exercise (even when I am doing something with steps) so I feel cheated some days.

Bought this very recently. Have been using it everyday. It's very small and convenient. Syncs with my Android phone easily. I prefer this model than others. No need to charge everyday. The coin cell battery lasts for 6 months or so.

This is third one we bought. My wife and I each have one and bought as birthday gift for daughter. It is a help to start exercising and if you join with friends for challenges can be a lot of fun. Only issue is battery does not last as long as they state, maybe only a month, not three.

Fairly easy to set up, makes you aware of how much or little exercise you are getting. Sometimes it was difficult to get to sync up with computer, I found out there is a simply way of force syncing. Now there is no problem. The biggest problem is remembering to switch it from one pair of pants to another.

Wish it had a back light. Also wish it had the flight of stairs counter that my old one had. It essentially does what I need it to do- just missing some bells and whistles. But for the price, I'm happy with it.

I have tried this and the wrist activity trackers and have found this to be more accurate. It easily clips on to any pants, shirts, skirts, etc. just be cautious as the zip can pop out of the case. The Fitbit app is easy to use and this syncs via Bluetooth throughout the day.

Bought this for my mom after purchasing one for myself. It's really easy to use and least expensive of the fitbit series. I like that you can add friends and have your own fitness challenges. It's helped me to be more conscious of my daily steps and want to meet my goal each day.

I originally purchased the Fitbit Force. I was not enthusiastic about it. After the recall I decided to try the Fitbit Zip. I love it. It was super easy to set up and it a no hassle product. I wanted a long term record detailing steps, distance and calories. The zip does this and more. More important I am walking more to.improve my statistics. It is also very comfortable to wear.

I miss some of the features I had on the more expensive version, but it does exactly what it says in the description. Plus it seems harder to lose. Solid clip with enough bulk to keep it around, and I can still avoid having something on my wrist. (Something I dislike.)

Got my mom and dad one we are all hooked on the challenges and glad it's something to keep us all motivated. My only issue is that it didn't connect to my dads iPad. I guess he has the older one ... Boo but other than that very happy with this clip version it's very secure.

Received a Fitbit One for Christmas and was using it regularly but lost it about a month ago. Didn't want to spend the $100 so I purchased the Zip instead. Not as many features as the One but it does what I need it to do and I am still able to track my steps.
