Customers are saying

Customers admire the Zip Wireless Activity Tracker's ease of use, small size, and accurate step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate its motivational features and find it reasonably priced. However, some users point to inconsistent battery life and a display that can be difficult to read as drawbacks. The limited feature set compared to more expensive models is also a recurring concern.

I love it. This is my second one. I wore out my first one. It keeps you moving. I make sure I get the amount of steps I want each day.

The least expensive Fitbit device does the basics nicely. Step measurements are very accurate.

The fitbit zips are nice and small. One nice feature is that they seem to measure steps just as well in my pocket as they do when they are clipped on. In the past, clip on pedometers usually have the clip break eventually. I wasn't quite ready to commit to the wrist option.

Lacks the bells and whistles that the more expensive ones have. But for the price and what it able to do. You can't go wrong.

This was a replacement when I lost my Fitbit one. Clip holds securely. Doesn't count stairs but otherwise does what I need.

It's easy to sync data. I like the e-mail progress reports too. I've been able to snap it on my sock or tuck in my boot. Worry free.

Wanted something to help motivate me to get moving. Everyone kept talking "fitbit" but I didn't want something I had to wear on my arm. Saw the Zip and decided to give it a try. I've had it since the first week of November, still on original battery. I have gotten a "low battery" message a couple of times, but if I do the Sync again, it has gone away. It does take a while to Search and Sync occasionally, even sitting directly on top of my computer. The display is difficult to see at times, but a back-light would just eat battery. I do wonder about durability with "tapping" it to see the different screens. I would have liked a heart monitor, but didn't want an arm-band type, and have read that they aren't really all that accurate anyway. I haven't tried to gauge how accurately it reads steps or distance, but if it gives some motivation to get moving, that's a good thing.

Economical, no need to carry phone, the zip has the read outs for you and you can also purchase the bands to wear it on you wrist.

I had been researching the various models of "activity monitors" and eventually decided on the FitBit Zip and am thrilled with the decision. It's quick to setup, synchronizes with my iPhone and helps keep me motivated with badges and the ability to share my goals and results with friends who are also using FitBit products. Definitely a beneficial purchase for me.

I used to have a pedometer that fell off so many times it finally got lost and I gave up. This is so easy; no measuring step to get it up and running and it syncs on its own. I find now I live my daily life by 10,000 steps and get annoyed with myself if I walk to Menards with it..... Recommend! Wish I would have bought the one with the sleep calculator as well.

I love the Fitbit zip but it breaks easily and the battery goes within two months. The protection plan is the way to go with this!

Started competition with my friends, and in 1 week I walked about 10 miles a day! Might be psychological, but helps me work out :)

I wear this Fitbit Zip everyday and track my steps and mileage at work. It is absolutely what I was looking for. I recently started working out at a gym and I plan on using it to track my steps on the treadmill. I highly recommend this Fitbit Zip to anyone that wants to keep up with their exercise, steps, mileage, calories burnt, etc. Highly recommend!

This fitbit is effective for information on steps, calories burned, and active minutes. However, it is somewhat difficult to initially sync to your smart phone. I had to do it several times before it worked. Also, the clip can be difficult to put on some styles of clothing and I don't see it lasting very long.
