I bought this for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. He has been asking for a pedometer for some time. I didn't want to buy him just any old pedometer that tracked steps. I wanted him to be able to view everything that he does on a daily basis. When I came across the fitbit, I was skeptical as a lot of the reviews are not very flattering. I decided to take a chance and could not be happier. He loves that they have there own app for the iPhone and that he can sync it using blue tooth at the end of the day. He can track his calorie in take and calories burned as well. This device had a back light so you can see the digital read out with ease and has an easy to scroll menu as well. I am thinking about investing in for myself!

The Fitbit zip is excellent for tracking miles. You can link it to your phone if you want and can track water intake, etc. If you want you can compete with others and set goals or you can just use for the simple purpose of tracking your own steps/miles.

It's sort of fun to track my activities and gives me goals to try to exceed.

I love my fit bit and this was actually a gift. I've boughten a few for others!

I bought this for my wife and mother-in-law as a spring gift for my wife and a birthday present for the M-I-L. They both love it. After the initial setup on your computer. Yes you will need a computer with a usb port for the initial setup. It starts tracking your movement. With the data you input during the initial setup it calculates calories burned, steps, etc. My wife clips it to her bra so it isn't seen and it's clipped securely. It normally would be clipped to a pocket or belt, but if it falls off somewhere trying to backtrack your steps is hard to find the little Fitbit. ***Dog chewed on it once... briefly. Luckily it was in its protective "jelly Clip" so it didn't get damaged*** It would not hold up to a lot of damage and if the display itself were damaged I am not sure of the effect on tracking steps or the computer interface after something like that.

Like that it fits in pocket and is very small. Fit bit site is very easy to use.

Picked this up for Mother's Day and she loved it, with my Galaxy S6 it has the tracking built in and once she found that out she had to get something to compete with me so we picked this up! Fit Bit app allows for comparison with other Fit Bit users and seamless integration to phones or your home computer!

I recommend this product for anyone who wants to count steps and distance. I love this little tool. I find myself walking more to get those steps in. It might seem a little pricey but it works so well. If you're serious about counting steps, count on this little guy.
