Customers are saying

Customers admire the Zip Wireless Activity Tracker's ease of use, small size, and accurate step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate its motivational features and find it reasonably priced. However, some users point to inconsistent battery life and a display that can be difficult to read as drawbacks. The limited feature set compared to more expensive models is also a recurring concern.

Researched before I purchased. Zip does everything I wanted it to do, with the exception of sleep tracking. I didn't want to wear a wristband, so decided this would work for me.

I want to track my daily steps, distance and calories. No need to track my sleep patterns. I can also track other activity on the app. Serves my purpose terrifically.

This is my second Fitbit wireless tracker. It is easy to set up on website and tracks steps quite well. Got me conscious of the steps I take and am now doing at least 10,000 steps a day!

Good tracker of steps walked, but uses batteries rather quickly. Changed battery 2 times in less than a year. Nevertheless, small and easy to use.

    Rough Start

Very shortly after I purchased my Fitbit in Dec 2013, I dropped it onto a track where I was walking. It worked not at all or fitfully. The Fitbit team was very responsive and their suggestion of taking the battery out, waiting 10 seconds and putting it back in got it working for a day. I finally bought a new battery, which solved the problem and it works well now. I was surprised that after such a short time I would need a new battery and hope it was a case of the battery being in the Fitbit for a long time before I bought it. It was also more expensive than I anticipated. If it continues to perform well, I may think otherwise.

The Fitbit Zip is very easy to set up and use. It syncs easily, and its low power Bluetooth sync with my phone is handy. The clip on the rubber case has been very secure.

This is my third pocket Fitbit. Lost one broke the second. Obviously happy with product. Prefer replaceable battery model to one that recharges through USB.

I really enjoy the FitBit Zip other than the fact that the battery does not last like I thought it would. I wish I had purchased the FitBit HR instead.

clips on a belt or shoulder strap etc. a fantastic motivator to urge you to walk and is waterproof. I wear it all day and even if I forget to check the mileage I can look it up on my computer a day or more later!

Loving this device. I bought it to replace my Fitbit Ultra after it broke. I wanted one that syncs through Bluetooth LE on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and this does. It doesn't do sleep monitoring or stairs climbed, but those are extra monitors that are not necessarily needed. It also takes a watch battery. Due to this it is cheaper than other Fitbit devices, and that is great. The battery looks to last about six (6) months.

I have been wanting to get a device like this for a while but was no interested in a wrist device. Then I saw the two back and I knew my wife would like it so it was a no brainer. With both use them all the time and have lost several pounds between purchasing them.

I check it throughout the day, to check on my progress. It clips to my bra, and I push it way to the center so it can not be seen through my shirt. It has really made me more conscious of taking the steps versus the elevator, or parking further away then necessary, so I get the extra steps in. I like that it sends me an email once a week and keeps track of my progress. It clips on really tight so I know it is secure

I love this fitbit because it does not require regular charging. I was able to get about 6 months out of the watch style battery. Easy replacement. Nice to have a charger free device in our current world where everything needs to be charged.

I only give it a 4 because the battery isn't rechargeable. Other than that a great no frills, reliable, easy to use and sync to computer or phone.
