Customers are saying

Customers admire the Zip Wireless Activity Tracker's ease of use, small size, and accurate step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate its motivational features and find it reasonably priced. However, some users point to inconsistent battery life and a display that can be difficult to read as drawbacks. The limited feature set compared to more expensive models is also a recurring concern.

The Fitbit zip accomplishes all you would want from a tracker, but still remains very discreet. Great product!

Great device! I love the pink! I don't like how it doesn't automatically sync the information to my iPhone and that I have to wait for it even thought my phone is constantly conncected to bluetooth. The range isn't very great and ocassionally it takes a few minutes for them to sync. Pverall a great product by fitbit!

The device worked great but stopped working after 3 weeks. I returned it with no trouble and bought the flex. This was for my wife. I have had the flex for over a year and love it. Customer Service was great and no hassles with the return, of course I did have my receipt, the box and all the parts

For my wife. She Returned the watch because it was not very comfortable. This works well attached to her purse.

Got this for my son. I bought a watch band for it through Amazon so that he can wear it on his wrist. It is great for a kid. Doesn't have as many features as the other Fitbits, but it counts steps and tells the time. I wish the display lit up. You can't read it in the dark.

    It's Too Small

The unit is functionally operative but has short-comings. It is too tiny and is easily misplaced if it is not slipping off your belt and getting lost somewhere (lost mine twice, once found and the second time, permanently gone). Another problem is there is no actual accurate way to gauge how far you have gone as the step counts are "iffy" at best and even with accurate 'gait' definition, will result in erroneous results. It is only good as a general exercise inducement gimmick. You probably already have one of those. They are called 'spouse' or 'significant other'.

Tracks activity level sufficient for what I wanted. One issue I dislike is if a member of your family also has a Zip, it cannot be tracked on the same device as mine. Not a problem for us since there is only my wife and I but for a family of four or five this could be a drawback.

I'm reviewing this for my husband since he is the one who wanted a pedometer. I have the Fitbit Charge HR and love it. My husband is simple. He wanted just a plain pedometer but I talked him into this one. It is extremely basic compared to mine. He returned it the next day. He already didn't like the idea that it was mandatory to download and sign up for an account. He didn't want to keep a record and diary. When he had troubles downloading, he gave up. He packed it up and sent it packing. I'm not sure if this is a fair review, but if anyone is wanting a simple, no commitment, hassle free pedometer, then this is not as simple as it looks. I will say I personally would recommend this because I like the product. If I put NO, then I dont' think I would be judging fairly.

We had a step challenge at work last month and this was the least expensive device supported. Although I have a smartwatch, the challenge could not read the steps from that device. When compared to the smartwatch, this device is very close to the steps tracked by it. I highly recommend it.

This is a handy item for someone who doesn't need all the bells and whistles, and wants basic data tracking without an unwieldy bracelet. This attaches easily and inconspicuously to clothing, and setup including sync'ing to phone and computer is easy even for the technophobe.

Very easy to use, just clip it to your pocket. Syncs to your device via Bluetooth 4 or you can use the included dongle. Zip displays steps, distance, etc. so you do not have to sync to know your status. Uses CR2025 batteries which last about 3-4 months in daily use. I love my Zip.

I liked this tracker, it was pretty accurate and compact. However, while walking around my office, I talking to my co-workers about it. I pulled it out to show them and the zip was missing from it's pocket clip. When did it fall out? How did it fall out? All I did was walk?

Purchased & used for a few weeks - is nice... can clip on belt or drop in pocket- review progress on iphone. I just decided I'd prefer a wristband - so returned for one.

This Fitbit was such a great investment! It's small enough not to be visible or to get in the way when attached to your clothes and just large enough not to forget that it's attached! Great price and great features. You can track your water and food intake (calories), set weight goals, and miles walked.

This Fitbit is an easy and inexpensive way to track your progress to a healthier lifestyle. It clips to your clothing. Not everyone wants to advertise by wearing a wrist Fitbit. You can compete with Fitbit friends too!
