I think it's a great way to know your true level of activity and you can eat accordlingly so you can lose weight.

I love the steps and the calories burned functions of this item, but the quality of the casing is sub-par at best. I have had to return/exchange several cases for ripping & tearing. It is very comfortable...but hate the inconvenience of having to return and exchanging rather often.

It is simple to use. It makes you want to walk at least 10,000 steps a day.

Just OK Uses a battery that only lasts a few months. Sometimes / most often it will not sync.

I bought the FIT BIT to satisfy my own curiosity on how much mileage I was putting on doing household chores on any given day. It turns out it is a fair amount. I rarely hook it up to my computer to track my progress toward any goals etc...I just view my mileage while home, compared to running errands etc...It has way more potential than my purpose. I was amazed it came out of our HE front-load washer & dryer still attached to my shorts & working like a charm.

I wear this everyday and like keeping track of the steps I have taken in my daily routine.

Fit Bit is a lot of fun to use with family and friends. Keeps you motivated to take those extra steps.

The Zip pendant is a great alternative for people who don't like wearing things on their wrists or who want their fitness tracker to be less obtrusive. Have had no problems with the tracker's monitoring features. Only complaint is the Zip pops out of the rubber sleeve a little too easily. Wasn't a problem while worn as a pendant, but when attached to my belt, it came loose and was almost lost.

Works fine but battery dies quickly. Had the change battery 2 weeks after I got it.

Easy to use with not too much information required.
