Customers are saying

Customers admire the Zip Wireless Activity Tracker's ease of use, small size, and accurate step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate its motivational features and find it reasonably priced. However, some users point to inconsistent battery life and a display that can be difficult to read as drawbacks. The limited feature set compared to more expensive models is also a recurring concern.

Works pretty well most of the time

Usually this works pretty well. I attach it to my bra and it seems to do a fairly good job. But recently took at trip where I walked according to my iPhone about 5-6,000 steps a day. The zip consistently recorded only a portion of those steps. Not sure whether my gait is different when I'm doing a lot of walking but it was disappointing to not have it record properly. It's better not to have it than to have something that doesn't work completely right. I use my iPhone when I go on long constant walks and the zip for when I'm just running around.

I and my wife are tracking steps everyday now. my friend had fitbit one and it broke almost 2 times now since it is thin and long. I read somewhere that the band is not accurate enough as it uses hand movement. we love the zip

Bought this for my wife, so that we could compete with each other and our friends. Although now that I know she is enjoying her FitBit we may end up getting the FitBit One so that she can also track flights of stairs.

It did its job, tracked well but it turns out my body doesn't react well to Bluetooth related things. It causes a weird achey feeling, I know that sounds crazy but that's my reality

I love my zip. I had a One previously but lost it at a concert so I went to the zip just to try it. I really like not having to recharge the battery. The fitbit app and the synchronization with myfitnesspal is amazing.

There's a big time lapse in the time of walking activity and uploading to the daily goal challenges. And we have three total Zip Fitbit. We were thinking about trying another brand , of tracker.

    Sad Fitbit Fan

I am sad to be writing this; let me preface it by saying the one I purchased may have been a dud. I purchased the original Fitbit one a few years ago, and have been a big fan ever since. When reading that this one syncs to smartphones (Bluetooth 4.0 capable, anyway), I jumped at the chance to get one. I rarely use any PC every day, so having it sync to my phone saved me the trouble. However, I started running into trouble from taking it out of the package. First, it took several taps to get the screen to come on. So many, in fact, that I removed/replaced the battery several times, wondering if I'd done something wrong. This issue repeated for the 3 days I had it. Secondly, it was TERRIBLE at tracking my steps, even after configuring it to very particular settings. It and my Fitbit One, which I kept in my pocket to check for accuracy, were off by THOUSANDS of steps. The Zip, at end of day, would MAYBE say 800 steps, after a workout each day of at least 2 miles. I was sad to return it, but I'll stick with my original until I decide to risk it on another Zip, or maybe the Flex.

While this does not take the place of a running app, it is truely the perfect addition where GPS cannot go. It is a great little reminder of how much you have (or not) moved in the simpleest sense of the word.

I previously had a fitbit and the only reason I needed to get the zip is because I went swimming in my old one. East to setup and awesome that it tracks wirelessly. I highly recommend any products by this company.

I got it mainly to count my steps and tell me how many calories I am burning. It can do other things but I am happy with those 2 plus I can wear it anywhere and it doesn't have to be on my wrist

I needed something to keep accurate step counts. This has really done the trick. It's extremely effective on the treadmill, while I find others not to be as efficient. Small but mighty!

I am addicted. I put it on first thing every day and remove last thing at night. Can be synced with iPad and iPhone. Compete with friends and family. Like AMEX, I don't leave home without it. I love my Fitbit!

Great intro to help get you moving more. I have also tried the flex which is nice because it has the silent alarm that will wake you and will also monitor your sleep. All in all it's a great intro tracker!

I originally bought one for my wife who was intrigued by a friend who had one. Now it's become a daily competition between us to see who gets more exercise.

This is my 2nd one so knew what to expect. Unfortunately, 1 of the batteries was missing (not BB's fault) so had to buy a replacement since BB was out of stock on the 2 pack until January.

My company's insurance plan provides an incentive for walking a certain number of steps per day/week. I bought the two pack for my husband and myself.

I really loved this tracker except for its lack of altimeter and alarms. Would recommend it to those who just want simple tracking. Also not having to deal with charging is a huge plus.
