Customers are saying

Customers admire the Zip Wireless Activity Tracker's ease of use, small size, and accurate step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate its motivational features and find it reasonably priced. However, some users point to inconsistent battery life and a display that can be difficult to read as drawbacks. The limited feature set compared to more expensive models is also a recurring concern.

    Overall Good Purchase

Fitbit makes a good product, but the battery does not last as long as I had hoped. Changing batteries is tedious to say the least. Clip where Fitbit attaches to your clothing is not a great design and I have had issues with it falling in to my pocket or on the ground.

I bought this fit bit as a gift for a friend who is ultra health conscious. She was a little concerned about learning to use it with her computer, but she really liked that it was small enogh to put in a pocket or tuck in her bra. She doesn't like to wear watches. It's working great for her, although she's still getting used to using it.

Good pedometer, not compatible all smartphones

This is the most accurate pedometer I have ever purchased. It is easy to use but unless you have an iPhone or certain Samsung models you must upload your steps to a computer instead of your smartphone. The Android app does work on my phone to see my progress but even though I have the correct version of Bluetooth my phone is not supported by the Fitbit. The wifi uploads are not as reliable as they should be to my computer. There have been several occasions wall the zip it is within 3 feet of the computer that it was not able to pick it up on the wifi. Still with its flaws this is the best most accurate pedometer I have purchased a date.

Everyone seems to be using these things. My daughter wanted one to wear around the lab, see how many steps she was taking on any given day. There are some fancier ones and more expensive, but this one does what it was advertised to do; we are satisfied with the item.

This Fitbit monitor is perfect for someone that doesn't want to advertise that they're wearing one. It holds tightly and goes unnoticed through your clothes. It tracks my steps well and sends me notifications via emai. It really helps to keep me on track and to reach my goals.

Awesome! ...... until I washed it

This was a nifty little gadget but it did not survive my washing machine. As far as I could tell it kept very accurate track of steps. If you want an overall view of your calories burned, though, I'd recommend the body media fit as this device was not accurate in measuring my calories burned in no impact activities like eliptical or ice skating.

    Great little pedometer

I got this as a gift but have one myself. It's a tiny little pedometer that has an app which you can keep track of your steps. Also allows you to add friends and family so you can compete or encourage each other! The one thing that's a little annoying is replacing the battery. Other than that its a great simple way to be a bit healthier.

Great for those starting their 'get fit' journey! Nothing fancy but steps are accurately recorded. Loads into computer software for tracking. Solid construction and clips onto any article of clothing. Does not monitor sleep or activity other than steps taken but is a good basic starting place for people wanting to get more active.

The Fitbit Zip is small enough to fit in your pocket, and is very accurate. It is easy to sync to the computer. Not only does it count steps but shows distance and calories burned. It gives you the incentive you need to keep moving.

It is very inexpensive to add the product protection at check out. I had a zip just stop working for no obvious reason so it was good to have the product protection. Remember Best Buy price matches so don't hesitate to show them another stores cheaper price at checkout too.

Of course now this little tracker is a little outdated, but my main reason for buying it is because the coin battery is replaceable. I would rather have a basic tracker with the replaceable battery over a full-featured tracker that will become somewhat uselesswhen the non-replaceable battery is unable to hold a sufficient charge.

I wanted something where I could see my steps at a glance. This is simple to use, simple to see and works effectively. Just wish that the battery was rechargeable, but it only needs a battery every few months.

This is a great little device, I didn't want a wristband so this was a good fit for what I was looking for. Online tracking and the daily goals/challenges make it motivating to keep walking. I'm not sure how accurate it is, but I got one for my girlfriend too, and as long as they are relative to each other, that's all I care about.

I love the Fitbit-Zip. It's basic, but that's all I was looking for. It's so easy to wear it, so I do. I used to have a Fitbit Force and I didn't always wear it since it replaced my watch and I like wearing my watch too. Now I wear the Zip everyday. All I need to know is if I've taken enough steps in a day and it's a great step, mile counter.

The Fitbit Zip is a great inexpensive way to track your fitness. It's easy to set up and the app is incredibly versatile with a friendly interface that easily lets you see your progress. The only thing I would change is that the clip is a little tight which, while great for making sure it doesn't fall of and get lost, can be a bit bothersome.

This thing is so accurate. It makes my hectic life easier by tracking my steps and being able to track the cals burned in the app. So convenient and reliable too. Its not even necessary to get the more expensive wrist one...

Love this Zip tracker. Started out with the Charge and didn't like the wristband. Returned it for this one and its so simple. I clip it on my undergarment strap and don't think about it until bedtime. It tracks everything I need and I sync it with my phone and Fitness Pal. It's convenient...not complicated...and that is a big plus for me!!!

I forgot to take this off the pocket of my jeans before washing. it ran through the cycle and still works. Tracking seems to be pretty accurate and it's easy to use. Automatically syncs when I'm in the same room with my computer.
