Wife did not want some on her wrist. This fits the bill. She uses it with MyFitnessPal. A big help to keep track of her steps she takes everyday.

Love the Fitbit Zip! It's so easy to wear under clothes - nothing on your wrist. And it so easily syncs with my laptop and phone. Great product!

Gives me my steps, distance and calories burned. Easy to set up and easy to read the statistics on the device. Easy to synch with computer too.

The Zip has a couple of advantages to the other step counters. I like the fact that it takes a disposable battery. It lasts 4-6 months, depending on usage. The other ones have to be recharged every few days. I would say it is a personal preference, but I like not having to have another gadget to plug in every night. I have had one of these for a couple of years and bought this one for my mom for Christmas. The Fitbit website is pretty easy to use as well and the wireless dongle that goes into your computer works very well. Would recommend.

It is small and invisible when I wear it to work. I like that. It keeps me motivated to move.

Convenient to clip. Doesn't track everything the other models do, but it does the job if your focus is tracking the steps you walk/run.

i like keeping track of how much i move my butt thru out the day. its discrete and stays out of the way. app is also easy to surf around.

Clips perfect to belt or pocket. Very accurate. Battery life is awesome. I even sent it through the wash on accedent and no problems.

I think it's fair to take away one star for the accompanying app. The Android Fitbit app leaves a little bit to be desired. The tracker itself however, seems to count steps reliably. When the tracker syncs with your phone or tablet, it does not always show the same data. I found that you have to completely close the app, bring it back up, then sync it to see the numbers match correctly. If you are looking for a simple activity tracker, this does it well. Just be mindful of its limitations.

I bought this product to monitor how much I walk during my work day. Even though it is a large facility, I find it hard to believe that I walk 2.5 to 3.5 miles per day on foot. There are also several flights of stairs that I traverse during a normal day that have not registered in the 2 weeks that I have been testing the unit. To insure that carrying location was not causing the discrepancy, I carried it in my pants pocket and clipped to my shirt collar. Both positions produced the same results. On the good side, the software is easy to use and it is very painless to sync. Even with the case and clip, the Zip is small enough to comfortably fit in a front jeans pocket.

I love it. I have had it now for 3 months and I wear it everywhere I go. I never realized how much I walk until this little guy.

This is an excellent device to measure how many steps, miles, calories burned and very active minutes you do in a day/week/month.

I like this tracker because of its small size. I attach it to my pants or undergarments. It gives time, steps, miles and calories burned. It even smiles at me when I do a good job. The gray screen is a little easier to see than the pink one but the pink color is fun. It syncs automatically with an app on my iPhone and will collect data 1 week back. I really like this little tracker.

I just wanted a small pedometer that worked fairly well. I have had various brands over the years and they've all been pretty much useless. They'd track steps when I wasn't walking or they wouldn't track all the steps when I did. This one has been really accurate. I didn't need the bracelet that does all sorts of stuff I just wanted one that could track my walking. Excellent for that purpose.

I've been using the Fitbit Zip for over a month. It's a great way to track your basic activity level and balance your calorie intake according to that activity level. There are some features of the other models I might like to use and the ability to have a rechargeable battery would be great. I've been pleased with the device but next time would get the more advanced model.
