Love it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a college student and this thing is much, much easier to carry around that my clunky 17" laptop #which is why I bought it#! I'm really happy with it, I'm surprised it cost as little as it did, to be honest. Well worth it! As far as performance, I'm in my masters for statistics and I've been able to execute R Scripts and analyze moderately sized data sets #around 5mb# without any problems. I'm really pleased and don't have any complaints, especially when factoring in price!

Good 1080 resolution. would like to see in 13.6"
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first one I brought locked up after a Windows 10 update and wouldn't restart into the OS. After exchanging it, the second one works good. It really needs a 4GB RAM, a 128GB internal hard drive, and a better design for the power button. The power button needs to be press a couple of times before it turns on. I brought it a little bit before Christmas for $199 and with the 1080p resolution makes it a good deal. Insignia should make a 13.6" tablet with 1080p, I would buy it for $299. Favorite setting for this tablet is reduce green color in calibration -1 and brightness at 14% makes for the best picture.

Ehh
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a decent beginning tablet for a child. It didn't live up to the hype. I don't recommend this product to anyone that is trying to conduct some type of serious business.

So far So good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this for my 9 year old for his 1st computer. So far things are good. I had to return the 1st one as the power button & trackpad had issues. The screen is great, its 1080 as opposed to all the others in this price that are 720+. It's plenty fast for all the Windows 10 games he's downloaded like MineCraft, etc. Adding a Micro SD card is a must with only 32GB built-in. Will update review after 90 days of use. The only negative so far is the slow trackpad, slow charging & short charging cable.(being replaced with a 6FT cord) I also wish the screen was reversible & able to do tent & presentation modes.

Terrible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was such a pain to type and use. The problem was that Best Buy had more display units than what is in stock and was forced to buy that terrible product

The price is great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a tablet and came across this one. Yes the quality of the tablet isn't too great, but the price is sweet. Not only do you get the tablet you also get a keyboard with it. This is why I love this tablet, because many other tablets with keyboards are expensive. If you're looking for a affordable tablet this will be the one. You can't beat this price.

About the USB ports...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm new to tablets/laptops/touchscreens, so am just learning how it all works. So far, I'm very impressed with this machine. Before I bought it, I had no idea you could get anything remotely this good at such a low price. The main reason for this review is just to let people know that the specs don't mention that there are two regular-size USB ports in the keyboard. They are in addition to the micro-USB port in the main part of the machine, which is used for charging (I'm guessing it also works for other stuff, but haven't tried it). Having at least one regular-sized one available was important for me, because I needed it for transferring data from another computer, via the USB flashdrives and portable drives I already owned. So, if that matters to you, now you know. They could also be connections to a printer, if wireless isn't working or available. It seems a little strange that they'd hide this information, since it was actually a selling point for me.

Fast and effective
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for the price and the specs that it offered. I was expecting to be disappointed, but was pleasantly surprised. It is fast and lasts quite a while for a tablet keyboard combo. I get about 6-8 hours use while surfing the net. I need to buy an sd card as the provided storage is less than modest, although the price justifies that. The added keyboard feels nice and I am typing on it now. It doesn't feel crammed like many other tablet keyboards do. The full 1080 display is really bright for a budget tablet. Overall, this size is perfect. Plays youtube videos flawlessy. The keys a little resistive which I like for the tactile feedback when typing, although some may find it fatiguing on the fingers if typing for extended periods of time. If you are in the market for a tablet running windows 10 and need a keyboard. Get this, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic Value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for an On The Road tablet with better capabilities than the ordinary detachable tablets and came across the Insignia. This one, at a fabulous price point, with Windows 10, a very good Intel processor, high quality graphics, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB ports etc.. seemed to fit the bill. As it has a limited internal drive, I added a flash card of 128GB on which I installed the programs, leaving the small drive to Windows OS. Further, I use a light weight USB Toshiba Canvio 1TB attached for all other info. It is fairly well built, reasonably light weight and holds a good charge for portable work. The processor is very responsive for such an inexpensive tablet, handling hefty programs without much delay. The only problem I have is with the touch screen which is either down to my own clumsiness or a lack of sufficient touch points on the screen. The keyboard is fine. The speakers are what speakers are on a small laptop/tablet. Just add a cheap Bluetooth speaker if you must. The Insignia represents enormous value for money, even with the additional cost of a flash card and USB drive and it handles all of the complex tasks I require of it, relieving me of dragging my office laptop around while traveling. Now let's see if it holds up over time.

Upgraded from a Samsung 10.1 tablet to Insignia
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use a tablet mainly to do email, surf the web and watch movies on it while traveling. I have a regular laptop and a desktop already. I got tired of using "work arounds" for Microsoft software that I use and trying to find an Android app that would work with the likes of Office Pro, etc. When I saw this product and it had a full Windows 10 OS on it, plus all the plug-ins and memory upgrade possibilities I took a chance and got one on sale at Best Buy for around $200. It's been great for me and would recommend it. It's not a MS Surface by any means but it does the trick for a reasonable price.

First Insignia Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed something that was smaller than my HP 17" laptop. Just something I can sit with to search the web and play on social media. This was my first Insignia product but what sold me was the screen resolution 1920x1080. My wife owns a 2 in 1 which cost almost 3.5 times as much. I truly believe this device holds up to the expensive one. Typing is very easy for me but can be abit frustrating for others. I love it and would recommend to anyone looking to do basic tasks.

Great Portable Computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this tablet for Christmas 2015 and it is a great tablet. I also have a high performance gaming desktop that I build. I wanted something portable. This is an excellent 2 in 1 computer and 32 GB with a micro sd slot for up to 128 GB is actually a pretty good deal for this price. Like I said I have another computer for the heavy computing this I only wanted for browsing the web and the touch features. I also stream Kodi on this and with the 1080 screen the picture looks amazing! The speakers also do not disappoint! Music and Movies sounds great even only at 50% volume level. Very loud and clean speakers. With all that said if you have a desktop or laptop and want something more portable then I would recommend this device.

Can't beat product for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this as a travel companion as I am just a novice user (email, facebook, etc) and did not need a complicated type system with a bunch of bells and whistles. Setup was easy and am glad I made this purchase.

Major issue with attached keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This PC is wonderful except its attached keyboard! It doesn't detect the keyboard while charger is unplugged. I could make the keyboard work while the PC is fully charged, but after next boot when charge is half or lower the keyboard would not be detected by the PC. I have spent time to figure out the problem but no luck! I am going to return this item. Thanks to BestBuy's good return policy.

Not DOA, lasted all of 3 days
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it on a whim, thinking a tablet would be great for lectures. I used it less than 3 days and it was dead. Wouldn't turn on and the led indicator for charging wouldn't even light. When it was working it was relatively quick for a tablet and the screen size was great, but obviously not a reliable machine. Ended up returning it and going with a Lenovo yoga at 4 time the price (it's worth it).
