This is not a PC or Mac, but it performs the essential web-browsing tasks needed for personal and school related tasks extremely well. I take this to school every day in lieu of my laptop, and it significantly reduces the weight of my backpack due to its size. The aluminum frame makes it feel sturdy, but the touchscreen is not necessary, especially since everything on the screen is so small. The resolution is great for the screen size, and the keyboard does not feel cheap. The size, although great for portability, is the only issue I have with the Chromebook.

I bought this laptop for my brother who had a stroke and can only use his right side. This was just the thing for him. It's lightweight, can fit easily in his wheelchair pocket and he's very happy with it.

Works great in school. Use it everyday and the only problem I have had is it locking up once or twice.

After several months of my wife coninuting to use her old beaten up laptop we decided to get her a chrome book as her computing needs are quite limited. We went with this one because it looks similar to my MacBook Pro and she liked the fold over touch screen style. This is our first touch screen notebook and also our first chrome book. The chrome interface part of it took some getting used to but the touchscreen intergrated well with the system and make it more intuitive. Now my wife doesn't use our desk top or my computer without tapping the screen.

I bought this for my son to use in the classroom and it is perfect for that. I was looking for a cheap way to use the in class WiFi for research and using his classroom web tools. This device is perfect for that and with the touch screen it makes it that more intuitive for young users. The only issue I have noticed is the low quality of the trackpad. It does not see to bother my son but coming from using a MacBook trackpad to this one is a pain. But for the price you have to make some compromises and with this machine the trackpad is one. Overall great value for the price.

I have 2 lap tops , 2 desk tops and one cell phone. The Asus Chromebook is a recent purchase and it has mostly replaced all my other gadgets. The Chromebook sits on my coffee table and serves my multiple computer needs. It is easy to use, fast, versatile and small. One great feature is its long battery life. The fact that I stopped using most of my other gadgets speaks volumes to the usefulness of this gadget.

I bought this Chromebook as a gift for my daughter. She absolutely loves it. The screen resolution is great and she loves the fact that it can be flipped like a tablet. For the price it is great value. The day after I bought this the price was reduced by $10. I took my receipt to Best Buy and was given credit. Very easy.

I bought this for my trip to Australia and it was so easy to set up and carry around. I used this for google drive docs and to stream web music as well as videos. There was some lag watching NBC shows and had a bit of a hiccup with the user where it didn't authorize based on the web browser. Luckily Google has some solutions but a powerwash did the trick. And the best thing of the chromebook being web based you didn't need to download a bunch of applications. You simply just log on to your google account and other websites.

I bought this because my iPad required me to download apps and some didn't work well for typing. I love that this can be a laptop and a tablet. It's great for school!

My son is hard on equipment and technology, and so far this has held up well. So far, it has provided enough memory, etc., to keep up with his honor level classes w/o difficulty.

Good product however it is a product to get use to if you are a windows user because you are not able to download any Microsoft Windows products. Overall, it is good for the price.

I cannot believe how affordable this chromebook was! The device it light, fast, so portable, and the battery just goes and goes! Ready to use out of the box. Connect to wifi and take off.

Bought this to replace an Acer chromebook that I did not like at all. This one reminds me of my old Mac and I really like it. I love the touchscreen. It's way easier to use than the Acer.

I was looking for a laptop for web surfing, and this had all the capabilities I needed when traveling. The aluminum case was a primary feature in determining my purchase.

I bought this for my 9 yr old daughter and I. We don't usually use Google chrome so it was a minor adjustment, but we love it! We already have a Samsung tablet and it is great, but the 2 in 1 was definitely the way to go!

I purchased the Asus 2-in-1 Chromebook for my kids so they would leave my home computer alone and it was one of the best decisions I could've made. It's screen size works well for their needs plus it is a touch-screen which they love. Full functioning keyboard for helping with their homework, and it completely flips for Tablet use. They have been using it for about one month now and have not had any issues. I was able to find a very nice protective cover (hard plastic) to help protect it from that unfortunate drop.

A great step up from doing all my work on my phone. So light weight and versatile - I always have it in my bag. Great battery life too!
