Ended up with 3 of them - sold 2 acer c720p as the youth like the tablet - I was concerned about the size - it's perfect (we had 11.6" acer) - batter is better than a smartphone - days between charging. Zero complaints on touchscreen or lagging. Granted it's only been a month since Christmas!

Kids love the item, and versatility that it does offer for them. They use a similar chrome book at school, so the compatability was a must! Only downside is the availability of a screen protector for the touch screen

This chrome book is fast for its spec and light weight. I used it for search the web only. Since it supports flash,it is more user friendly than iPad for surfing the web.

Good for surfing and checking email. Decent performance but it's one weakness is that it always needs constant wi-fi access to have full functionality. Speed is okay for the price. It's all browser based so your experience depends on how stabile and how fast your wi-fi is. Expect to be dropped a lot if your wi-fi isn't and then having to log back in. Chromecast- with this Chromebook you'll have the ability to screen casting whatever is in the browser window to your chromecast.

Inreally like this chromebook. Easy to use and compact. Keyboard is not too small

love the compact size of this chromebook and all the features it affords for my necessary school work. Easy to use, and highly recommended for less computer savvy people.

Got this for my high school aged son who is taking classes at the community college. It's small enough to carry around, but powerful enough to do what he needs to do.

Happy with purchase screen resolution could be a little brighter but other than that it has definitely served its purpose

This speedy little machine is great for people who use their computer for web surfing, checking email and Facebook, reading ebooks, streaming video, etc. If you need to work on complex Office documents or run specific software, this is probably not the one for you. LIKES: * It runs very quickly. The speed is especially notable when waking up from sleep, which is nearly instantaneous. * Touchscreen * The screen can be folded back onto the keyboard to make a tablet. * I can pair with my Android phone for faster unlocking of this device. * Small, thin and light. * Chrome OS is pretty easy to figure out * Battery life is amazingly long! LIKE LESS: * Transition period of learning a new operating system (Chrome OS, in this case). It's not terribly hard to pick up, but it's just different enough from Windows and Android to require some adjustments. * The online version of Microsoft Word, which is all that can be used on this computer, cannot handle the complex documents required for my job. Google Drive and Microsoft Office (online version) are great for simple documents but not for more complex ones.

Bought this for my son, it is very light, good size for student He loves it.

I LOVE THE FEEL. THE ALUMINUM GIVES IT A REALLY PREMIUM FEEL. I LIKE THE TABLET ASPECT OF IT. ALL IN ALL. ITS THE BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK.

As a new product the information available is very poor. The sales person acted like he knew all about this product. sounded like it was just what I was looking for, a simple uncomputer computer. Now that I have worked with it I'm really beginning to like simplicity and speed. But it took a lot of stubbornness and patience to work out how to maneuver and personalize it. More information about the chrome operating system would be much appreciated.

I love my Asus chrome, it serves all my needs for online purpose or just playing on it. Love the size and weight .

I bought this Chromebook just for school. I also use it for tablet uses as well. For it is considered a convertible device. You can flip over the keyboard and use it as a tablet its touchscreen display. It is not the best picture or the response is lighting quick. But for the price of it and the simple use that you need it for is great. The battery life is great on it as well. I streamed over 5 hours of anime off the battery before I considered plugging it back into house power. Overall it is a great device. Sign right into your Google account and be on your way.

I am enjoying my new little laptop. It is much faster then my old one and I'm able to take it with me when I go on a trip. Also find it very easy to use.

I had bought two of these in the past for my grand daughters. One of them had a "mishap", no fault of hers, and the Chromebook was less than useable. I took her with me to get another and gave her 4 different choices but she enjoyed the original so much she wanted an exact replacement. She's up and running and happy as can be.

I love this! I didn't need a computer but wanted full web browsers. I have just been using google docs.

I bought this in order to have a small computer to whip out when I had free time at work to get things done fast. It took me a little time to get used to the chromebook because it doesn't have a desktop like usual laptops and everything is run by Google. I LOVE my chromebook though now that im used to it. The touch screen is great and the computer starts up so fast where I left off making it easy to get stuff done even if I only have 15 minutes!

Bought at a christmas gift for the wife. She loves it, and I'm actually thinking about getting one for myself. The only thing I don't like is the charging port... it would be great if future versions of this chromebook could charge via USB Type C, just like my phone and other devices. Other than that, battery life is AMAZING, and wife can do pretty much anything she needs to either natively or with the chrome remote desktop

this is just the right size and has good performance for students needing a laptop for school.
