Its good for doing basic searches on the internet but when it comes to streaming Netflix it is a total flop. Netflix struggles to stream on this device but streams just fine on an ipad or iphone- which I end up using instead of my netbook. Other than that it functions just fine.

A few years back I wanted a macbook air. I didn't really need the actual mac os or apps but I loved how cool and classy the macbook air looked and felt. I settled on an Acer chromebook instead. I have since fallen in love with the entire chrome os and ecosystem. Just about everything I was doing on my mac or windows machines I can do on my chromebook. But my chromebook was no macbook air. Mostly plastic and not very elegant. Now I have an Asus Flip and I am surprised at how pleased I am with the quality and craftsmanship. This feels much like a macbook air. Aluminum outer body, excellent keyboard. very good screen, and a good trackpad. However the Flip goes above and beyond. With the ability to stand it in many positions, use a touchscreen, treat it like a tablet, and to add a microsd card is fantastic. I also love the size. You'll either love or hate how small it is but I love it. The screen, trackpad, and keyboard are more that readable for me. I can type very comfortably on the keyboard. I've owned three macbooks, windows laptops, netbooks, and two chromebooks before this one and I must say the Asus Flip is by far the classiest most elegant laptop I've used. I absolutely love it. And the best part? The price. I paid well under $300 for the 4gig version. If you love chrome os the way I do and want something extremely portable, the Flip is definitely for you
