love this Chromebook for it's size, price and performance. the build quality is very good for the price and is good for home and on the go use. the display could've been better, but no complaints for everyday use and price point. the sound from the speakers is loud and clear. battery life has been really impressive. keyboard takes some getting used to considering the size (the keys are little close to each other), but is not difficult to type a long document. tablet form factor and touch screen help a lot when using in tight spaces (on the airplane) or lying in the bed :)

I had this laptop for just over 4 days. All I did was watch 4 episodes of a tv show on HULU, on the 5th day I turn it on and got an error message that I was missing the chrome software and needed to reinstall it all. I could not get it working again, thankfully the awesome people at Best Buy were able to refund my money and I was able to get something that worked.

We bought this to play music from an external hard drive. Sales person said it would be great... NOT

It worked great for about 4 months until the battery died on me. It's a risk buying this.

Asus C100PADB02 flip chrome book review ..... This is a good looking , well built chrome book. It looks more expensive than it costs. It boots in less than 10 seconds from being powered off. It shuts down in about 1 second. I like the 10 inch screen size for portability sake. It loads web pages quickly. I use it to watch NFL football online at the maximum bandwidth 4500 Kbps that the site allows and it works fine. If it can run at that bandwidth, without stuttering , it can basically handle any web streaming you will need. It has the Rockchip 1.8 Ghz quad core processor which means it is about 10 to 15 percent slower in performance than the Intel Celeron dual core 2.0 GHZ cpu and the Tegra K1 2.1 GHZ quad core cpu, but that means the battery life is about 10 to 12 hours due to the processor's lower power requirements. The other two have about 7 to 8 hours of battery life. It converts to tablet mode and lays flat. Another review said it is slow, but I have no clue what they are talking about, unless they have a huge number of webpages open or they are connected to a poor internet source. Also remember, it has 2 gig of ram , so most computers will slow down if too many web pages are open with that amount of memory. I have zero concerns with the speed of it. I was amazed the first time I used a chrome book at their speed. That speed is basically because it is a Linux operating system with a Windows look to it . However, if you want a little more speed. The Celeron and Tegra K1 cpu based chrome books are faster but have shorter battery life. I would definitely purchase it again.

I have had this ChromeBook for one month. It is already at the Geek Squad service center in Kentucky. The ChromeBook went to sleep, and it never came back on. The in-store Geek Squad "doesn't handle that," so it had to be shipped to Kentucky. I heard such great things about this, but I'm not impressed. It goes to sleep constantly.

It didn't work out for my kid. Small size , close to iPad but hard to read or see.

Ok I bought my first chromebook just to see what it would be like. I sold that chromebook and bought the acer c720p touchscreen. Both of which I purchased from best buy. After seeing an article about this device I decided to buy this one. I am a computer professional and this chromebook is what I use to do all my daily computing. There are some things you cant do with a chromebook but when I use this or any chromebook they simply just work. This one is totally awesome. Love the way it makes a tablet or laptop. CHromebooks take getting used to, its a different way of thinking. This device is so easy to use. I can tell you this device is all that most people need. If you are using windows? Just start saying no to windows and go buy one of these. You will not regret it. Buy it from best buy. You wont be disappointed there either. They always have what I need and give me the best help.

did not last 1 month the touchscreen is awful keeps malfunctioning!

When the Chromebook worked it was amazing because I was able to install Android apps on the system but after the 4th day the OS kept crashing and it would tell me that the Chrome OS was missing or corrupt. I returned the product and will wait for the next gen chromebooks before I give it another chance.

It dies fast, and it doesn't do much. Can't even go to every website

The only reason I didn't give this Chromebook 5 stars is because of the glare on the screen. It's kind of hard to see it when seated outdoors. As far as functionality though, it is great. It's fast, has good sound quality and you can't beat the battery life. I literally use this all day long at my work and I haven't brought the charger with me once. The battery easily makes it through an 8 hour work day. I have had several laptops in the past, but you just can't beat a Chromebook. With wifi or data connectivity almost everywhere you go nowadays, Chromebooks just make the most sense. .. for me anyway. Will never go back to a Windows OS every again!

I'm writing a book and I need a small laptop on the go. I'm not willing to travel with a MACBOOK and have it fall and crack, rather do that with this Chromebook. Chrome OS is not an OS I like, I don't want to have files floating in the cloud, no can do. You can install Linux for a desktop experience. Asus runs on ARM, so the operating systems that are Linux are limited to install. You can use LibreOffice which can save as a Microsoft Office document and compatible with office.

I like the little laptop, BUT.... the WiFi is not good at all.

no apps, no file folders, I was hoping for more in a 2-1.

The first one the screen was cracked. The second one the card reader wouldn't keep the card in place. The third one the operating system was messed up and kept refreshing unless you used a second profile then it worked fine. I returned it and purchased a flex 4 instead.

I didn't like the size to small for my sight I returned it

I bought this chrome book for my wife who is not very tech Savvy si wanted her to start committing, gaming and surfing but the games are so limited, it is very difficult to operate and my wife hate me for buying this so I returned and bought her a new iPad air

I tried to install Sonos. Wouldn't work. Tried to play music to my Nyrius bluetooth receiver wouldn't work. Several websites wouldn't display properly. Plex wouldn't work properly. I felt like an early stage beta tester for a brand new product.

Because of the operating system, you can't do anything with this tablet. I was hoping to be able to download apps and surf the internet. This tablet won't even let you do that. Waste of money, I returned it!
