It sounds like your Ring Floodlight Cam Pro is not performing as expected. We would love the opportunity to share with you some troubleshooting steps that you can try to get your Ring Floodlight Cam Pro functioning as intended. If your device is unresponsive, try pressing and holding the reset button for 20 seconds. Follow the steps in the Ring app to reconnect the camera to your network. To reconnect a Ring Floodlight Cam Pro to your wifi network: Open the Ring app. Tap the menu (≡). Tap "Devices" and select the camera you'd like to reconnect to wifi. Tap the "Device Health" tile. Under "Network," tap "Change Network" and follow the prompts in the app. Allow some time for your device to fully reconnect to the network, then check your wifi signal strength in "Device Health" to confirm it has successfully reconnected.

Older version mounted in same spot reported fine wifi signal. This model says the signal is low. Same router in same spot and I even went and moved anything metal out of the way after noticing the low signal reading- no change.

Works well day and night and is also very responsive. This is an add-on device to my current Ring home alarm system and works well synchronizing with my other Ring camera devices.

I thought I had one false alarm but close examination showed my neighbor going into his back door! One star deduction for value, the original price seemed a little high and as with all ring devices it is pretty well worthless without paying the monthly fees.

I would recommend to measure up the place where you plan to install this be ause it is bulky and might not fit. Also, get the solar charger if you can. Excellent product. And yeah...Best Buy rocks!
