BUT there’s a constant terribly loud static noise coming from the unit. Try to trouble shoot the issue and ended up getting a chime pro to extend Wi-Fi but the noise is still there. Idk what the deal is. It’s so annoying that I might have to return it.

Having the peace of mind that you purchased the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro for is critical.
All of our doorbells and cameras are designed to be a fairly simple, DIY (do-it-yourself) type of installation. We strive to include all needed parts, tools, and instructions to make the process seamless for our customers. However, in some installation instances and unique home environments, assistance from a qualified professional or someone familiar with installing Ring products may be best. Refer to your local laws and building codes before performing electrical work; permits, plus professional installation, may be required by law. Your Floodlight Cam Wired Pro must be installed on a 4“ round UL listed weatherproof electrical box. It sounds as though there may be an electrical issue with your device: a loose wire, an overloaded wire, or an improperly grounded wire. Looks like some water got behind the camera lense. Contacted ring and they say it is user error and refuse to honor the 1 year warranty. These things are not meant to be outside and are not weather proof according to their customer service rep from India. Maybe if you live somewhere not in Florida they would last longer, which is why I’m giving it an extra star (from 1 to 2).
