My house is new construction. It’s not on a map yet. Birds Eye just sees trees in my case. Not helpful. Tech itself is excellent and it’s easy to install.

We are happy to provide you with more information regarding the Bird's Eye View concern that you mentioned in your review. When choosing the location of your device, mark it as accurately as possible by dragging the device icon into place. On the split screen with the camera view and device, move the slider to the left or right until the camera view matches the direction of the device If a motion isn't detected by both views, the motion will be ignored to ensure you only get notified about specific areas of interest.
To use Bird's Eye Zones and get the best results, follow these steps:
In the Ring app, toggle Use Bird's Eye Zones on, then edit your zones (see steps below)
Customize both your Bird's Eye Zones and your Camera Motion Zones. This will help you get more precise alerts by monitoring only the important areas in both the radar and camera's field of view, while ignoring motion that occurs elsewhere outside your home.
To respect your neighbors' privacy, keep your Bird's Eye Zones within your property line. Always use Privacy Zones if a neighbor's property appears in your camera's field of view. With Privacy Zones enabled, the Ring app won't display anything in your Privacy Zones when using Live View, and Privacy Zones won't be video recorded.

It crisp its clear and it has the siren that is fairly loud. The 2 way talk works well and the bird eyes view is a great feature to eliminate annoying alerts

Easy to install and easy to setup for Google assistant or Amazon. I will possibly purchase another to cover all the blind spots!

Too easy, and I'm not that handy. Even easier to add to my existing ring account with the ring doorbell. Camera is very clear and easy to adjust motion zones. Very pleased.

It has a very clear photo of recordings, plus you are able to speech to individuals you see. The floodlights which are LEDs really light up our area which is great for recording.

I replaced a first generation unit that I moved to the backyard. Works fine but I'm really disappointed with all the plastic. The first one felt like a quality metal unit. This one is all plastic and definitely doesn't have that quality feel for this price point.
