I like either one, but I paid 50 extra dollars for this version and it’s awesome. I have four total floodlight cameras. I just put one where every light outside had a switch for the original light that was out there.  You just have to keep your switch on. I like to use the switch because if I ever have to reset the camera, I can just flip the switch off and back on. 

Works great, gives me a great sense of security and I like that It has two way audio that I can talk to someone who could be lurking by the door.

I bought this when i bought my house. I moved down the street from my parents house and i can see their driveway from the view on this camera. The image is great as long as my wifi is strong otherwise it can be a bit grainy at times. I liked it so much i bought one for my parents.

Very good products. I love it. Wish I have it long time ago. Best Buy federal way branch customer service “Miles” was fantastic on helping me. He did above and beyond. I bought 2 floodlights cam wired pro, 4 spotlight cam pro plug in and 3(2pack)indoor cam. Still trying to install the rest. Very easy. Thanks a lot

Ring has been a game changer for home surveillance around my home. After a scare a year or so ago, I've installed several ring devices around my home. This is the second one of the Ring Floodlight Cam that I purchased for another location. The flood lights are bright and camera clear. The added benefit to listen and speak through the camera is nice.

The coverage of the video view covers the whole front yard and the one in the back covers the whole back yard with the video so worth the purchase

The camera is of its highest quality I have it protecting my backyard living space It's very good in high or low lighting situations. I would like to thank the ring team for making such a quality product.

3 simple wires to power device, easy to get device booted up on your phone. I can see intruders at the end of my driveway before they get to my door!

Floodlights cam wire are so easy to use . The light really help get a very clear video .The price is very affordable. I live being able to check activity on my phone .

Does not catch all movements. Cars do not register. Doesn't always detect dog or cat. It does capture people. I like you can turn the light off at night and sitting outside. I like you can talk to people via the ring. Was very easy to install

Excellent light and very easy to install. We have had many others the Ring has been the most issue free and just works.

Best cameras out there. I have 2. The security and lighting is the best even in the retirement community.

I like my Ring cameras but i am not convinced this is that much of an upgrade to the quality. I was expecting a greater improvement to the picture further away from the camera. The picture is still clear but at the edge by the street the quality appears to dissipate quickly once you get to the street past the sidewalk. I am just saying the HDR addition has not impressed me for the additional expenditure . . . Yet. Up close they are about the same.

Easy to install and use. The camera produces great picture and the flood light provide great coverage.
