It sounds like there was some confusion surrounding how the Ring Floodlight Cam Pro is powered. The Ring Floodlight Cam Pro is powered by a hardwired connection to a standard 100V-240V AC power source, requiring existing outdoor wiring and a 4-inch round junction box for installation. Ring allows you to control the brightness and had the dusk/dawn feature that automatically turns on the flood lights.

Works well day and night and is also very responsive. This is an add-on device to my current Ring home alarm system and works well synchronizing with my other Ring camera devices.

I thought I had one false alarm but close examination showed my neighbor going into his back door! One star deduction for value, the original price seemed a little high and as with all ring devices it is pretty well worthless without paying the monthly fees.
