We understand how important it is for your device to detect motion consistently and reliably. The Ring Floodlight Cam Pro is designed to detect motion based on your specifications so that you are notified of all motion events that matter to you. We would love the opportunity to work with you to get your device performing optimally for your home's environment.
It sounds like you have some concerns with your device's motion detection. If your device appears to be missing a lot of motion, you may want to check the motion frequency setting. The motion frequency control allows you to reduce alerts from repetitive patterns of motion or increase alerts so you get notified about the motion events that matter to you.
Follow these steps to adjust the motion frequency:
Tap the menu (≡) on the top left of the Dashboard.
Tap Devices.
Select the device you'd like to adjust.
Tap Motion Settings.
Tap Advanced Settings.
Tap Motion Frequency.
Select Frequently, Regularly or Periodically.
Frequently: Motion detection always stays active. Shortest battery life.
Regularly: Motion detection takes a short break after each Motion Alert. Medium battery life.
Periodically: Motion detection takes a longer break after each alert. Maximum battery life.
Tap Save in the upper-right corner.

You can start new topics on the Product Boards with your questions or suggestions; a search function will assist you in locating subjects that other neighbors have previously posted.

Three work great but we’ve had nothing but problems with the one. The latest problem is it keeps telling us we are now being recorded out loud every time we are on that side of the house. No matter what we do, it won’t stop. Inspite of the problem with this one camera, the others work great, so I would recommend the brand

It sounds like the Motion Warning feature is enabled on your device. The Motion Warning feature is a digital recording that notifies visitors that they have triggered motion detection and are being recorded.
To turn off the Motion Warning, you can take the following actions:
Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.
Tap more (•••) on the camera you want to access.
Tap your device's Settings.
Tap the relevant device.
Tap Smart Responses.
Tap Motion Warning.
Toggle off Motion Warning.
