Worth the money.

Ring keeps updating the app, and this light uses a gps view if you like to use that plus the clear quality of the camera view. I am happy with the clarity and how it captures movement. It also is a bright flood light with good motion detection.

The wide angle lens covers a large area. The picture is clear and you can zoom in for more detail. Tha camera will give verbal warnings that they are being videoed. I recommend that every home have several of these around the house

Wanted something wired, motion detection camera and will light up my grill at night. This covered all the bases. BUT! unless you are experienced at electrical work, this is NOT a do-it-yourself messing with 110v. Once I got it wired up, setup was easy. I already had Ring equipment on my house. I like this so much I bought a second one for my Deck. Don't forget to use sealant where it attaches to the house. My mount on the house is plastic and is not solid. There was a gap at the top.

Feeling Safer

When I look at device health, the RSI number often as high as 71. It is at 68 at the moment. The camera ads a layer of security and helps me feel safer.

Excellent camera - easy install

One of the few products that has really good install directions. It found my wifi quickly and was up and running fast. Lots of powerful features for settings and fine tuning. Excellent camera quality. We feed the neighborhood stray cats and love to watch them come and eat.

It was fairly easy to install and we love the security it gives us. The image is fantastic. I only wish the lights were a little brighter and wider. But we are already looking to replace another floodlight with another Ring floodlight.

Sense of security

The camera and quality is very good and gives a sense of security. One con will be that the device does have a hum to static sound when reviewing the camera.

Thank you for taking the time to share your Ring experience with us. We appreciate the value and trust you have placed in Ring for your home security needs. It is great knowing that the setup and installation of the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro was easy and straight-forward.
We are happy to share some tips with you to help you troubleshoot why your Ring device may be experiencing warped sound or no audio. Make sure the external volume is up on your mobile device (on the device where you're viewing your Ring videos or "Live View"). If your phone or tablet has poor service or internet, it could be affecting "Live View" or your video downloads. Try turning Bluetooth off, then open "Live View" or view a recorded Ring video. Poor wifi can often cause Ring device issues, including capturing audio. We recommend following these steps in the Ring app: Tap the top menu (☰), then Devices. Choose your Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro. Tap "Device Health." Under the "Network" section, you'll see your device's "Signal Strength." If your "Signal Strength" (RSSI) is amber or red, your Ring device likely has a poor connection to your location's wifi. Try moving your wifi router closer to your Ring device. Open "Live View" in the Ring app and see if your Ring device's microphone is enabled. Open the Ring app. Tap the top menu (☰), then "Devices." Choose your Ring Floodlight Cam. Tap the "Live View" button. Check to make sure the microphone icon is enabled. You can also press the green phone icon. If you have a Ring Protect subscription, you can view the recording to see what the audio sounds like. Check your audio privacy settings You may have your audio settings turned off for privacy reasons. Open the Ring app. Tap the top menu (☰), then "Devices." Choose your doorbell. Tap the "Device Settings" tile. Tap "Privacy Settings." Make sure "Audio Streaming" and "Recording" is enabled. Reboot your Ring doorbell by following these steps: Open the Ring app. Tap the top menu (☰), then "Devices." Choose your doorbell. Tap the "Device Settings" tile. Tap "Device Health." Scroll down and tap "Reboot This Device." Wait a few minutes for your device to reboot.
