I called and advised them 3 times there wasnt any existing floodlights at my house Meaning no power. Said ifs fine as long as there was a power source inside the garage. Yup theres a plug right inside the garage. Low and behold when the installer comes he could not install it. Ended up getting the spotlight pro battery with solar

the app and phone works well

I wish the flood lights was a little more bright, but it was sufficient. The app works good with your phone. It was easy to set up, the hardest part is electrical if do not have any experience'

You are correct; your Floodlight Cam Wired Pro must be installed on a 4" round UL-listed weatherproof electrical box. Installation by a qualified electrician may be required in your area. Refer to your local laws and building codes before performing electrical work; permits and professional installation may be required by law.
Here are step-by-step directions for checking your device's WiFi signal strength: https://ring.com/support/articles/2ki93/Checking-Your-Ring-Device-Wifi-Signal-Strength. If you are getting less than 2Mbps, you can still enjoy the Ring experience, but you may notice lower video or audio quality or potentially delayed notification when using your device.

To include 4 HD/night vision cameras connected to a 2 Tb Nvr, 1 ring doorbell and the flood light installed on the garage. First, the price for this flood light isn't cheap 268 to be exact...to include a 579 electrical install fee. In all fairness the camera has many cool features...the issue is they don't work!!! The motion lights turn on and off all night long even with motion alarms and zones disabled. I wish I would have did my research before purchasing. All you have to do is google ring flood light cam issues and you will be amazed at the issues consumers deal with.

They are valuable features that are designed to notify you as to who may be near your home, and deter unwanted visitors. Please know that it is a priority for us to be of assistance and find a resolution to your concern.
Regarding the Ring Floodlight Cam, the floodlights are divided up into three 90 degree zones that can be independently turned on and the distance adjusted to customize the area that will trigger the lights to turn on. The camera too can have its motion-sensing area customized through the Ring App, and can cover up to three different zones. The combination of these different customizable zones gives you complete control over the area you wish to cover with your Floodlight Cam.
