Install and setup went well. I like the Ring Account feature that I can pair other cameras to activate together to allow better video coverage outside my home when motion is detected.

A win/win

Got several units and my contractor installed them in replacement of old spotlights. We now have access to live view of various perimeters of the property where the device is placed via the Ring app on our phones. Wifi and Ring app setup was easy and quick.

It will reconnects within seconds but don’t feel it should keep disconnecting

The way the front door is I could never see anyone in my driveway so this is a big help. Love that you can hear and talk over it also but the locusts at this time of year can be deafening.

It works but the light goes on and off by itself all night without any motion and it reports a low WiFi signal even after we purchased and installed the Ring Chime Pro to extend WiFi signal. We did not have these issues with the last Ring camera installed.

We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the concern mentioned in your review.
It sounds like the device is not performing as expected in regards to light setting. The Ring Floodlight Cam Pro is an outdoor security camera designed to provide you with the ability to customize your camera's zone coverage, motion settings and light settings in the Ring app. If the light on your Ring Floodlight Cam Pro turns on and off by itself, here are some troubleshooting steps to try:
* Try turning the light off manually within the Ring app. If it comes back on, examine the camera's view for anything that might be triggering motion detection.
* Verify that a Light Schedule isn't enabled in the app and causing the light to activate.
* Check the Device Health section of your Ring app to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range. The recommended range for optimal performance is 0 to -60 for the RSSI.
* Reboot your device from the Ring app by tapping "Reboot This Device" from the Device Health page.
Regarding the low WiFi signal issue, your router is still your main source of connection for your Ring device even with your Chime Pro. Ideally, the maximum distance between the router and your device is 20-25 feet with the Chime Pro about halfway between the Ring device and your router. If possible, try moving the router closer to the device. Also, make sure your router is not in a closet or behind furniture, like a sofa, so the router has an unobstructed signal.

We installed this in less than ten mins. We also bought the power plug in cord for this and it’s been working great. Love the spot lights they are very bright and it’s easy to use.
