Not worth the trouble

I tried rebooting, disconnecting, connecting and it never pairs. It worked for like 2 weeks and I can never get it back to connecting after a power outage.

DIY installation of your Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro is intended to be a relatively easy process. However, as the Floodlight Cam Wired Pro requires a junction box as well as wiring up live wires, it's recommended you hire a licensed electrician to install the Floodlight Cam. The Ring Floodlight Cam should be connected to a 100 VAC~240 VAC 50/60 Hz power source.

Love it till they break after a year

The first one lasted just over a year. This one just short of a year. Works great for that amount of time. Hoping ring will make things right when i contact customer support tomorrow morning. For the price this should last much longer.

If your device is unresponsive, try pressing and holding the reset button on the top of the camera for 20 seconds. Follow the steps in the Ring app to reconnect the device to your network.
To reconnect a Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro to your wifi network:
Open the Ring app.
Tap the menu (≡).
Tap "Devices" and select the camera you'd like to reconnect to wifi.
Tap the "Device Health" tile.
Under "Network," tap "Change Network" and follow the prompts in the app.
Allow some time for your device to fully reconnect to the network, then check your wifi signal strength in "Device Health" to confirm it has successfully reconnected.

Not for under eaves

Upon playback of video it appears upside down or distorted. I called customer service and they said instructions were wrong but light/camera doesn't wrong if camera rotated. My other one mounted on wall works great.

After I had all three installed I discovered that the floodlight cam does not work with my PC. When I Googled the problem, I found many others have the same issue. Apparently, the app for windows does not support this camera for some ignorant reason, even though Ring claims that it will on its packaging. At these prices I expect things to work the way they are intended to. I would have never purchased these products had I known that I wouldn't be able to use them the way that I had intended. I certainly would have gone with a different brand. Now I'm limited to only being able to use it with my phone. I am highly disappointed in this purchase, but since it is already installed, I guess I'll just deal with it until it gives out. Will definitely be going with a different brand in the future. What a good marketing strategy this company has for chasing away potential repeat customers! Come on Ring, you can do better!

As of April 10th, 2018, the Ring app will no longer function on Windows Mobile devices. The Ring app will continue to function on Windows desktops, laptops, and tablets running Windows 10 Fall Creator's Update (version 1709) or newer. New Ring device setups must be done on a mobile device running Android or iOS.

And they need to make a cover for them it keeps saying cool down. If these are made to go on garages and doors need to have something to protect from the heat
