I was able to play this game at E3 2015. I'm sure the final version will have minor differences but I will share my experience with the game. For Honor is very much a cooperative effort with your four teammates. You will have a tough time if you try to go "5150" on your team members and take down the enemy on your own. During my match I played on the defenders as the second defender. There were three bases A, B and C that we were trying to take a hold of. The goal was to get to 1,000 points to make your enemy army feel defeated and give them the finale blow before winning the battle. From my experience, you earn points the more bases you take over. My defender teammates would call out bases they intended to take over or defend. You and your teammates can team up on an opponent, but it will leave you vulnerable. If no one is there to defend your base, another team can run to it and claim it. Similar to capture the flag type games. There are also perks you earn as you kill off your enemies. You can head over to your fellow soldiers and inspire them as a perk, heal yourself or kill a bunch of your enemies by using a catapult. You do have the option to customize your character. There were different armor options and you can choose between playing as a male or female. There is no statistical benefit from playing as a male versus a female. They are equal matches. I choose to play as a male. I didn’t have much time to look through the armor options, but there were at least four I was able to choose from. The main concerning aspect is whether the gameplay will get repetitive. While the excitement of battle stayed strong throughout the 25 minutes I played, I’m having a difficult time seeing the replay value in the game. The game could get boring once you settle into the game and the controls become second nature. Check out the trailer online for an example of graphics quality. I did find the graphics to be crisp and well polished.

This game needs some serious work, it has a very poor server and is next to impossible to find decent games to play. Great visuals, decent controller scheme, but not worth full price.

I bought this game for my son and immediately we noticed there is an issue that causes constant error messages. Not an issue with the game itself but when connecting with other players the game resets. According to online information this is a known issue.

This game is so buggy it can barely be played. Being able to join a game is an accomplishment in itself. Even when you do join you will probably get disconnected. Do not buy..... I'm guessing lawsuits are coming

I couldn't get enough of just a weekend playing the beta. It was fun and exciting and it got really competitive playing 4v4 PVP. I can only imagine how great it will be when they work all the kinks out. I also hear there will be campaigns for those that don't like pvp.

Swordplay done right - DS3 mixed with Afro Samurai

Great game , very skeptical of another attempted swordplay multiplayer. Classes have a lot of distinction between face rollers and in depth advanced classes. 4v4's , 1v1's 2v2 duels , eliminations , dominations etc. Characters progress to lvl 20 and prestige. You level up your gear ,(chest, helm, arms, legs and weapon's blade, guard, grip) and collect gear for accomplishments. Very promising

    Downhill each beta release

They have completely destroyed the game since the E3 show and after each beta they actually made the game worse and less playably, the revenge mode is so OP it ruins things to no end. The Peacekeeper is just ignorant also. She literally loses no stamina when using small attacks so it is effortless winning by playing her. But again that means their is literally no balance to the game. A good few friends and the right choices of characters and you are unstoppable to walk through almost everyone except those that are just like your team, which means the game sucks for those trying to play on a smaller team basis. So far over 50,000 bloggers ended up cancelling preorders as the final Beta proved the direction and lack of proper programming was corrected, another 20,000 have already given up playing mulitplayer and said the money spent was not worth the story/campaign mode and would only be worth the purchase in several months when the price will drop significantly, will be worth it when it falls below $20.

    Good Idea...Poor Execution

Purchased this game because I had heard good things and it was on sale. The story is good and helps you learn to play this new fighting style, however, once the story is done and you move on to multiplayer prepare to be disappointed. While Ubisoft has said dedicated servers are in place the game drops every time someone leaves making 9/10 battles end with an error. They have also recently added new Gladiator warriors if you pay for the season pass which are waayy too overpowered and anyone without one can expect to lose every time....Glad it was cheap cause I would never pay $40-$60 for this.

I bought this due to a coworker's recommendation and it was a blast.... for a while. You do the same thing over and over and over and over.... don't get me wrong, you'll have fun for a bit but redundantly so.
