Bought this for my 15 year old son. He seems to enjoy playing it and hasn't gotten bored of it in over a month.

Almost like starting up Arkham Asylum the very first time and getting into the combat, you will struggle initially but once it clicks, it's fantastic. Multiplayer servers seem to be having an issue currently, but I'm primarily a single player person and so far the game is enjoyable, but more repetitive than I'd like.

This game is great fun, but does not seem that way at first due to the steep learning curve. You can not hack and slash. You must learn to guard and feint. You must also learn the speeds at which the different classes attack in order to anticipate movements in order to truly be good at this game. I will mention when I first started playing this game it was plagued by server issues, but they have been steadily improving.

For honor is a fantasy based fighting game that pins the samurai, knight, and Viking factions against each other. In terms of skill based game play the mechanics include parrying (controlled with timing) , blocking (directional input) , dodging (directional input as well as coinciding button press), attacking (controlled with directional input), and chain attacks ( heavy and light paired with directional input) While the game is fun, certain scenarios will make you angry, facing a team that gangs up on you will lead to your immediate death. In a game that stresses Honor (it is in the title after all) you may very well be faced with opponents who have zero of it what so ever. The customization of the characters is in depth and relies on a small part of RNG. Gear pieces can be awarded at the end of games or "scavenged" in boxes or bought by using in game currency(that can be earned in game/bought) called steel. The leveling process to get the different tiers of weapon and armor qualities lead to a grind, but at times can feel rewarding. Downside to this game is the ability to boost by buying different armor sets to have permanently and/or status boosts (increase in xp, steel, more item drops) at the end of a game session. This model of microtransactions is common in Free to Play game models, but in a game that costs $60, it has no place in it unless it's purely based on cosmetic items. Overall fantastic game concept but executed rather poorly in a sense of server management as well as built around microtransactions.

I was super excited when I heard about this game coming out. I never played the beta but I did pre order it and started playing the day it was shipped to me. As you may have read before the game is difficult but it a lot of fun once you really learn the characters and thier controls. Each faction has its benefits and you can be strong as any character this game is all about your preferences which is cool.

The game is great. the only downside is the ubisoft servers because it will kick you off randomly since PVP (Player vs. Player) Servers aren't around anymore so it's hard to play online when reconnecting. Game is not easy to play making it likable if you want a challenge

I picked this up on Black Friday. What a deal. This is a really good game and I haven't finished it yet. I can't wait to beat it with every race.

Fun game with good graphics. I would recommend adding to your gaming collection.

For Honor has been amazingly fun to play, it is easy to get into but difficult to master. There are some connection issues with matchmaking due to the game using a peer to peer system, which is frustrating at times, but it has not severely impacted my enjoyment.

graphics as good, the game play is not back and it keeps your attention.

This is a great game it’s set in the Middle Ages whether your into Knights Vikings this is the game for you brutal multiplayer action

Combat is extremely fun and quickly becomes addictive. Single player campaign isn't remarkable but is a fun distraction. Connection can be bad at times due to it using p2p connection. If you are unsure about buying wait till a sell, highly recommend.

Really interesting and different concept for a game. But the novelty quickly wears off by how repetitive the game play is. You will eventually find a combo you like and spam it constantly. Playing against the A.I. is too easy most of the time while playing online PvP is frustratingly difficult.

This game was for my son. He let me play it and it was so much fun.

What is better than Vikings, Samurai Warriors, and Knights fighting on the same battlefield? Awesome graphics on the battlefield

I ti s a fun game. It lost a lot of it's fan base shortly after launch. but for the sale price I got it for, I could't complain.

This is a fun game with a steep learning curve. You can pick up and play a bit in single player, but mutiplayer requires a better understanding of the mechanics. Combat is surprisingly deep, which contributes to the steep learning curve.

I purchased this after reading reviews. This is a great game if you like knights, Vikings or samari. It is not a game where you can smash and slash your way through. To be successful you will have to learn how to block, perry, and read your opponents. It's a lot of fun if you take the time to learn how to play it. It has a good story line too.
