Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately the VIP Pass you pay for in the Ultimate Edition is almost worthless. In past Forza games buying the VIP would give you some exclusive cars, and unlimited credit, and XP bonuses. Now they limit the XP and credit bonuses to cards. They give you a whole 25 uses on them which goes by really fast. As for the game itself, its amazing. So far its turned into my favorite racing title. I just recommend buying the regular edition and the car pass separate instead of wasting money on buying it in this.

Not at all as advertised

I am an Avid fan of the Forza series but this time around I am completely disappointed!!! The game is absolutely beautiful but I complaint is about the Ultimate edition. With the ultimate edition, you are supposed to get 4 day early access to the game, not just part of it and that is exactly what has happened. There are so many features that weren't enabled and after scouring the internet and finding answers in forums, Turn 10 (the company that makes Forza) said that all features will be available on October 3rd, the release of the standard edition. If I wanted to only play part of the game, I would have stuck with the demo and played that over and over. The extra money spent would have been better used elsewhere and not on an unfinished product. The next issue I have with the game is the VIP membership you get with buying the ultimate edition. Forza has nearly always made the VIP portion of the game advantageous for people who opted for it as opposed to those who didn't. Better XP for races, lifetime double credits, VIP exclusive cars, etc. This time around, they went back on their initial wording of their VIP program. So instead of what was said about the better xp and double credits, they changed it after the game was released and reworded it to 5 mods cards that give xp and double credits. There are other glitches in the game but that is to be expected as a first day release.

Ultimate edition almost worthless
