Good product, but not worth the money. Many features still need to be worked out.

First and for most, I'm going to make clear that I love Fossil watches, their design and overall feel of the watch is premium. The Android OS now called Wear OS is much much better than in previous versions. The watch tracks your HR,sports, calories and steps. The screen is nice and bright with a great resolution. Where the watch fell short for me is the battery. The battery life is advertised at 24 hours but I mostly got around 14 hours. Could be due to running apps ect but I'm not sure. One other aspect of the 4 star review is the OS can be slow sometimes. Either way though, for this price range, it's one of the better smart watches our there.

While my initial research led me heavily towards a Fitbit or the Galaxy Watch, neither had everything I was looking for. The clunky little Fitbit had battery life and water resistance, but a serious lack of aesthetics (and no WearOS), while the Galaxy had everything I could ever possibly want......almost. The Galaxy Watch is bittersweet, in a way; it's NEARLY perfect, if not for the lack of Google Assistant (Bixby is hilariously temperamental), no WearOS, and no Play Store support-so most of your android apps won't be on Samsung's version.
All of this is leading up to the fact that this beautiful watch-because I did end up buying the Explorist-has nearly everything you could want in a smartwatch, and more. Heart-rate monitor? Check. Wireless NFC payments? Check. A beautiful screen with a lovely pixel density? Ultra check. Then there's the design, the water resistance (ip67), the multitude of exercise trackers, and the watch faces...the list goes on and on. The only minor complaint I have would be the average battery, but since a day is pretty much perfect for me, it's not really a concern.
Honestly? You could do a lot worse for 255-275 bucks.

I just moved from Apple to the Note 9 and didn't want to spend $400 dollars on the new Samsung watch (I also didn't like some of the features), and I wanted something that was functional and nicer looking, rather than getting something rubber looking.
I really enjoy the build quality and size of the watch, with a large face that makes it easy to read and even type on.
Wear OS for me a big plus, I really like the layout and the fact you can download many watch faces from the store, and install some apps like Spotify directly to the watch (and they actually work well).
The battery did scare me a little the first day, but after I wore it once and charged it, it now lasts for more than 24 hours. This is plenty of time to get it on the charger while I sleep. You could sleep in it if you wanted, and charge it when you get ready, as it will fully charge in under an hour.

I really really like this watch but the only issue, im hoping will be fixed with time while it "adjust" is battery. I've only had it for a day. so im hoping in the next day or two the battery lasts more than 6hrs

This watch is very well made and looks great, but that's about where the good ends. I purchased it yesterday and it is already going back.
The battery life is mediocre at best. I set everything up, charged it to 100% and was down to 50% within 4 hours of minimal use. Worrying if my watch is going to make it to lunch doesn't seem fun to me.
The software is what was the worst park about this watch. Hopefully the new Sport watch by Fossil and the 3100 chipset is world better. Every app I used was slow and lagged hard. I had a few alarms set to test out the vibration and I couldn't shut them off. The watch face would freeze and it would spaz out vibrating out of control.
I was really expecting good things, the build quality is what you expect from Fossil. It's solid and extremely easy to change out bands in case youret heading to a work meeting or to the gym. Go Apple watch if you have an iPhone or try and hold off for the new Fossil sport if you have Android.
