The catalog of shows and movies is still a bit thin, although it is ever-growing, and generally fairly decent to high quality programming. And Apple being Apple, and needing to keep most things in-house, it is all-original, exclusively Apple content. With this model, they need to aim fairly high with the quality of their shows and movies in order to attract viewers, and they do so with quality production, characters and stories that have real depth. Being able to pull in Hollywood's A-list performers to act out these parts certainly doesn't hurt. The documentaries and other non-fiction pieces are all generally well put together... even a dinosaur series that is built just like any other of the famous David Attenbourough-narrated works about the present-day Earth. Not everything Apple produces is a home run, but I would give it generally pretty fair to good marks. Almost everything is available to view in HDR and Dolby Vision, making picture quality quite good if you have the right tv. Almost

Love this ipad! I am a college student so I didn’t need much, just something I could write my notes on, and watch a youtube video or two. Only “downside” is the pencil situation. Even though it’s a 2022 Ipad it takes the first generation pencil. Doesn’t sound like a big deal besides the fact this Ipad charges via USBC and the apple pencil is the standard apple thunderbolt. This was my first ipad in years so I had to buy a new pencil anyways, and the new pencils come with adapters- a USBC adapter and a Thunderbolt adapter. If you already have the apple pencil you will need to buy the usbc adapter to pair the pencil to the ipad, which i could be annoying. The pencil also doesn’t work while it’s charging, which would’ve been a cool additive given we don’t have the second gen pencil, but for me, it really wasn’t a deal breaker. the pencil charges very fast- a quick 5 minutes can get you at least 15-20 mins of constant writing
