Love my AppleTV, it takes my tv viewing experience to a whole new level. I especially like that I can connect my HomePod speakers to act as a sound bar and operate as a stereo pair. I can also connect my headphones to make sure I do not disturb anyone if I am watching movies or viewing videos at night. The layout of the apps is great, and it makes any smart tv, so much smarter. I would highly recommend to anyone look for smart features on their television, which I believe works a lot better than the native app that comes on most televisions these days. It blends right into the Apple Ecosystem.

Honestly, Apple TV+ has been a great find for me. I didn’t expect to love it as much as I do, but here we are. It’s got some of my favorite shows right now, like Ted Lasso, Pachinko, and Sunny with Rashida Jones. Each one is so good in its own way. It feels like every show is carefully chosen, like Apple is going for quality over just throwing a ton of stuff out there. Also, the picture quality is next level, especially on my iPad Pro. Everything looks so crisp, it almost feels like it was made for Apple devices (which, I guess, it kind of is). Plus, it’s a pretty affordable service compared to some others out there, and Apple often includes a free trial when you buy one of their devices, so it’s easy to test it out. The only thing I’d want more of is a little more variety in the types of shows, but honestly, I’m pretty happy with what’s there. If you’re into quality shows and don’t need a giant library, Apple TV+ is definitely worth it.

I've been very impressed with this 55" TCL. I've had it for a month now. One of the first things we watched was the 2025 Super Bowl in 4k. Motion rate of 240 was outstanding! Picture quality is very good with everything I've thrown at it. The internal speakers are VERY GOOD as they are, but I have floor speakers and use those thru an AV receiver. It is very easy to change all settings using the remote, and this TCL remote is one of the favorites. The dedicated quick keys are very convenient and I use several of them continually. I love jumping instantly thru TV sources, including thru my roof antenna. If the remote were backlit it would be perfection. I really like the long narrow shape that is easy to hold on to. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this model!

I wanted to share my experience using Apple TV. Overall, I really enjoy the platform—it’s sleek, easy to navigate, and the integration with my other Apple devices makes streaming seamless. The picture and sound quality are consistently excellent, and the range of original shows and movies has been impressive.

For the price, this TV has really satisfied. My concerns with getting a TV at this price point, is the smart TV functionality. Is it going to be slow and have a lot of lag? Is the dashboard going to be intuitive, and easy to use? Well, I am happy to say that I have been pleasantly surprised on all accounts! It runs on the Google TV platform, and is all very smooth, and shows no lag whatsover. Whether I am watching YouTube, or one of the many other apps that are available to you. I have also been happy with the picuture. I am glad I went this with TV and the higher refresh rate. I watch a lot of hockey, and wanted to be sure there was no blurring with the fast action. While it isn't PERFECT, and comparable to something you would see with lets say an OLED TV, at something that is at least $1000 less in price, it looks great.

I have Apple TV on my Prime account so I've never needed

3-months is plenty time to have Apple TV+. Keep in mind that the original programming that Apple TV offers is fairly small in comparison to some of the other streaming companies, but it is indeed quality programming (e.g., Ted Lasso, Murderbots, etc.). Other than this, it's simply a vehicle towards purchasing/renting titles that you can likely find on other platforms too (e.g., Amazon). I just can't really justify paying beyond the 3-month trial.

I will say. Great exclusive selection. Has a lot of Dolby Vision library even with TV Series. Only thing I don't like is it does not have a "My List" Option. Not one that I could find.
