I am no TV expert. I had quite an aversion to TCL after a friend had a terrible one years ago ( it would make phantom decisions, volume up randomly, Netflix turn on or off with do direction to do so, etc.) However, I chose this TV after doing a bit of research and this TV came highly recommended for the price point I was looking for. I have a Samsung TV, an LG TV and formerly, two Vizios. Best Buy doesn’t have Vizios anymore and by the research, it didn’t seem that Samsung was the best option - and LG seemed to be a bit dated. The picture quality on this TV is pretty good. Cartoons are hard to watch at first with the way the screen moves, but you get used to it. The backlight is BRIGHT. I mean, I have it set to 20 out of 100 and sometimes that is too bright. 100 is blinding on a sunny day. The good: The google TV makes it very easy to use, and you can use the remote on your phone which has no lag. You can customize a lot of the experience to your liking. The bad: The sound quality is absolutely atrocious. No matter what settings you change, the reality is that the speakers installed in the TV are absolute garbage. I have a sound bar but I don’t want to use it for every day TV use. With the quality of the built in speakers, I almost have to. I don’t expect TVs to have the same sound quality as a sound bar, even without a woofer. I have almost every JBL product on the market. The sound out of this TV is of very poor quality. Which is disappointing at this middle-of-the-road price point. Another annoying feature is the recommended options on the Home Screen. I have nearly every streaming service available. However, if a show that is featured on Paramount Plus, and also featured on Pluto, Quibo, Tubi, or any of the other less popular platforms, it will always recommend the less popular platforms first. None of the featured recommendations on the Home Screen are populated for the streaming services I pay for. Overall: this TV feels like a discount experience that should have cost even less than what I paid. Returns are a hassle and I will keep in my living room until I can afford to upgrade sometime in the next year.

I like the speed that Apple TV operates. We purchased three units to replace old school cable boxes. It makes using home theaters much easier. Now we have one remote control. We are still adjusting to the tactical sensitivity of the remote.

Got the Apple TV as a bonus when I bought my iPad 10th Gen, and I’ve been loving it! The setup was super easy, and the picture quality is really clear. It works smoothly with my iPad and iPhone, and I like how everything stays connected through iCloud. Streaming is fast with no lag, and using AirPlay from my iPad is a game-changer. I feel like this needs to be better categorized for faster/easier surfing. Titles are all over the place and many are very old. They do offer new titles but nothing very unique.

I had an older generation apple tv and it was not great. It made me not want to take a chance on a newer one but I’m glad I did because my streaming is so much smoother now.

With soooo many streaming apps out there nowadays I mostly find myself just scrolling around Netflix and Prime looking for a movie or show worth of holding my partner’s (who has the attention span of a squirrel) attention. Compared to other streaming services Apple Tv runs and connects seamlessly across all your Apple devices; put down your macbook or imac and take your movie/show on the road on your ipad or iphone with just the tap of a finger. The content offered by Apple Tv is also really really good.

This streaming device is hands down the best uou can get on the market. NO advertisements. Everything is so easy to do, its very fast smooth and clean. Just like on your iphone or ipad you can keep you other apps going in the background do when your finished watch a program or movie pn one app you can double click the home button and it brings up what you have tunning in the background and you can litterly pick up right were you left off. No having to open the app and find your movie/tv show, just bring your page back up and you movie/tv show starts play. It never buffers. Ive never seen heard or owned a a streaming device that just started playing with mo hesitation. One of the best purchases ive ever made.

I have a Chromecast and a fire stick already and needed an appleTV for work reasons. I assumed that it was much more expensive than the other devices because it was the usual apple desirability tax so I wasn’t expecting it to be any better or worse than than the fire stick or chrome cast but I was very wrong. The picture quality and the audio (to a lesser degree) are a big improvement on both the other devices. The picture is particularly good. Really clear and crisp and great Colour reproduction. The OS isn’t better than the fire stick it’s about the same and the remote which I initially thought was cool has become slightly annoying as the gesture control is flaky and difficult to use sometimes and the remote is difficult to work out if it’s the right way around in the dark. What is great if you have an iPhone is the integration of having the Apple TV remote controls accessible on your lockscreen. Also screen mirroring works really well. If you are in the apple eco system and picture and audio quality are important to you then this is definitely the streaming device I’d go for. It’s worth the price increase in my opinion.

I will say. Great exclusive selection. Has a lot of Dolby Vision library even with TV Series. Only thing I don't like is it does not have a "My List" Option. Not one that I could find.

I bought this small iPad specifically for travel but l use it for reading at home. I wanted a place to transfer my travel photos from my phone so they were more accessible, could be enlarged, and I could use them in my daily trip journal. It was also very useful in place of heavy books so I had interim entertainment and was able to research while traveling. I prefer the larger screen to a phone-sized screen. I chose an iPad in a bright color so it would be visible and not easily taken in error or theft. It was portable, easily accessible, and met my needs.
