Not quite perfect but all's well in the end

I wanted to order a fridge The first consultant in the Appliance Dept was in a hurry because he should have been clocking out. The sale went ok but, in his haste, even though he gave me a delivery date, he forgot to schedule it. He also didn't terll me I would be contacted the day before with a 2 hr window, so I waited from 7am-7pm for the non-existant delivery. I wne to a different consultant on my next visit because I had forgotten to measure the depth and I needed "counter depth". In contrast, he was excellent, took his time explaining eveything and I ended up buying a "bundle" that was on sale: refrigeratore, stove, dishwasher and microwave. Deliver went well with the exception that all the appliances, especially the stove, were not leveled. When I place oil in a pan, it moves to one side. Other than the afrementioned, it was a positive experience.

Being able to speak to someone that specializes in what your needs are to include recommendations within your budget, to make your dollar work at its best with current technology. Flexibility, of the technicians schedules and attentiveness to your needs. Backing up every product recommended, with reviews, personal experiences, best practices, and best bang for your dollar. The service truly provides flexibility, learning for what you are buying , convenience, and much time saved overall.

Help from beginning to end

The Best Buy consultant, Krystal, came to our home and helped us in selecting a replacement system that would be appropriate for our space. Along with that, because we have the TotalTech membership, we had a couple technicians bring the system out and install it for us.

Don't Get Overwhelmed, Get Total Tech Chris!

He advised us of the best system for the room size and esthetics. He spoke with clarity and on our level because, let's have it we're not tech savvy. Within the same week, we had a system that we LOVE.

Tyler Petit's consultation was excellent!!

He spent time explaining to us what would work best for our situation, and even secured some difficult-to-get items for us, e.g. Sonos Amp. He went above and beyond what is expected by picking up the last TV in Gilbert, AZ. We couldn't be happier with his work, and we think his team who installed our 3 TV's and Sonos system are superb!!

"Loving My Insignia Refridgerator"

He visited my home, properly probed to determine my requirements and made suggestions based on my answers. As a result, I chose the "Insignia 20.9 Cu. Ft. Refrigerator". Thoroughly love the unit! Feel I made the CORRECT choice!! Looking forward to working with Tony again when I am ready to purchase a new stove.

The absolute best installation performed

However, for our retirement dream home, I wanted screens over the fireplace and detailed for movie room so I solicited Geek Squad! The two Professionals did not disappoint! Extremely knowledgeable, timely and precise! All of which I appreciated as they respected my new home and time. Definitely want them for future jobs! Only challenge is they don't do tight spots with installations but that is understandable.

He showed me what was available and what I requested. I picked out a TV from the ones that fit my wants, set up a time to return for it and added my son-in-law to the pickup person.

He measured the spaces for the appliances that I was looking to upgrade and provided several options. Thomas also followed up with timeframes of delivery to accommodate my schedule! I have always gotten excellent service from Best Buy and really appreciate this hands on service!

We have had some issues.

We felt like we had known him for a long time. We then went to the store to listen to the equipment. We heard a couple of speakers. When we tried to listen to the surround sound everything quit working so we never got to hear anything else. We finally decided on what we were going to purchase. I gave a credit card number to purchase all of the equipment including the installation charge. It took days to get a receipt. We then were to receive all of the equipment. On the day we had an appointment for the delivery of the equipment it was to be picked up from the store and brought directly to our home because of what we purchased. Instead it went from the store on one truck delivered to the airport unloaded and they were not going to deliver it. Then it was reloaded onto a van then sent to our home hours after our appointment. We then had a date Friday February 7, 2020 to install all of the equipment. I touched base with Vasaf the day before and wondered why I never received a call confirming the appointment. Our appointment was never scheduled after all. The last text I received from Vasaf was Friday, February 7 at 12:18 saying he would call me in a few minutes. I then received a text at 1:31 saying to disregard any emails with a date of installation because it will be changed. I have received two emails saying we are scheduled on February 20. This is Tuesday, February 11, 2020 and I still haven't heard anything else. I am very disappointed. I am praying the equipment will be installed correctly the first time. I don't have a lot of faith at this time that it will. We didn't just buy a couple of things. We purchased $11,000. plus. We are still trying to make sense of this. Everything was paid for on Monday January 20, 2020. Equipment was delivered on January 30, 2020. Still no official date of installation. Before I answer the next question I want to see if the equipment is installed correctly.

Great Service!

He also answered all of my follow up questions along with his coworker. Nick also got back to me about my follow up question for an additional haul away. In less than a day, he was able to schedule everything for me.

Best decision we’ve made!

From start to finish he went above and beyond to assist us in finding our appliances....even when they were out of stock, backorder does, etc. He also took ALL of the stress out of scheduling delivery and installation- not easy considering our home is still under construction no exact completion date! And, he was able to save us hundreds of dollars on the actual cost of the three large appliances we purchased.

Amazing service smart suggestions

They made suggestions that were smart and easy to implement to make the most out of my viewing and a listening experience. I would definitely recommend the geek squad anyone that has any doubt about that technical abilities. These guys cover it all.

We're definatly calling Alex again and using Bedt buy for our next job.

Great Experience

When I ordered the dishwasher on my own I ordered the wrong one and it was a mess. So I was thrilled when I went into Best Buy and this service was free. The consultant was prompt and on time. We were switching from electric to gas so he checked everything out to make sure I was looking at the right appliances. He did measurements and was done in 10 minutes. We ordered our stove and love it. It fit perfectly and works great. I will definitely use this service again.

Although the product he suggested, Eero mesh system, ultimately didn’t work, it had nothing to do with him, it was a result of a conflict with a cell phone extender at my house that even had the Eero engineers stumped. I wish it had worked because aside from that conflict it met all my needs which has been difficult to accomplish. In addition to his networking help, he was also willing to help me with other questions and product ideas.
