After visiting and talking to Sean, on two separate occasions, I made a decision, and bought two KEF-R3 Series Passive 3-Way Bookshelf Speakers, and a Sonos Amplifier. I couldn’t be more happier with my purchase. Sean was not only helpful, but very knowledgeable on all aspects of the different sound systems that Best Buy has to offer. I will definitely refer my friends, and family to go see Sean for any of their home entertainment needs.

Do your homework before signing

Not everything was perfect as he sold us a bell camera that was for wireless or wired, which cost more $ than the wired one we needed. We didn’t know, until it was all hooked up. Trusted him, but other problems also happened, so do your homework before buying. We’re an older generation that didn’t know the difference on technology, and we trusted the geek squad who has always been excellent in other items we purchased. All in all we like the system. If only we knew how to use it better. Thank you

Delivery was a disaster!

We were moving into a house, so, we bought a fridge & stove, along with TVs, wall mount brackets, and all the installs - $12k worth. We needed specific dates, so, we booked way in advance to get what we needed - Stove & Fridge on Thursday, TVs, and installs on Friday. Thursday came, and they showed up and delivered the stove and fridge. There was a scratch/rub mark on the front of the fridge, still not fixed. They didn't unpack the stove...said something about not getting paid and left??? Never heard anything back, that day. Best Buy finally called back almost a week later, we explained the status, and they gave us one option, refund the install (not delivery). The night before the TVs were to arrive, we got a call, they canceled the delivery and installation???!!! No reason why, just couldn't do it, and it would be at least 10 days before they could. We made multiple calls and internet chats trying to find out why or how to get it sooner. NOTHING, no help...just, that is what you get. So, we canceled the order. Went to another store, bought the TVs, got them the next day, and got the installation less than a week later. I am long-time Total Tech member, try to buy all my stuff at BB, no more. I will not renew my Total Tech and I will seek local alternatives.

SOme problems with install

Tom was in and out very quickly. Said he had 9 installations to do that day. After he left we notice a very large gap under the oven. Big enough for me to put size 13 shoe into. Waiting to get this fixed.

Home Theater System Expert

He suggested pros and cons on each product based on our budget. He took care of price matches as well. He is so responsive and patient to reply your each question. The total tech was also very helpful. If you change your mind total tech will take care with in home installation. Finally it was amazing experience with me. I would definitely recommend.

Horrible

Recently purchased a home, and had many deliveries from a few companies. All went smoothly, until Best Buy. Your team member was horrible. He didn’t want to do the job. He said the fridge wouldn’t fit even though we were looking at the measurements together and there was clearly room, with extra to spare. I had to take my door off myself. Which wasn’t easy for a female to do by herself. Of course the fridge came through with ease. Then your employee was rude to me and to his coworker. One of the worst experiences I’ve had. He also clearly dented the front of the fridge and wanted to leave it that way. After reaching out to your customer service line.. I’m waiting on another fridge to be delivered and hoping this delivery goes better. I took out your Best Buy card but will cancel this week once I’ve paid in full.

Damaged Goods On Multiple Deliveries & NO SUPPORT

This was ok as we were told about the supply chain (SC) issues, so this was not a problem. Once the refrigerator was delivered we realized that the fridge had a massive dent in the bottom drawer of the fridge on the freezer unit. This wasn't ideal, but we worked to get a replacement ... a month later the 2nd arrived. Before we took the "replacement" unit off the truck they looked to see if it was damaged and sure enough, it too was damaged ... on the same bottom freezer drawer. I refused the exchange, as they both were damaged so I kept the original. I went to schedule another replacement and am now being told I won't get it until 11/23/22 which is the day before Thanksgiving. I have a pregnant wife due on November 28th and we are having people for the Thanksgiving holiday and now I am not sure if we will have a working, cold fridge before either of these events happen. I have reached out to our consultant (multiple times, leaving multiple voicemails) to get help and have not heard anything back. I have been a loyal BBY customer and am a past employee but this experience has left me doubting future purchases.

Never would I recommend this to a family or friend

Went through a home consultation to get expertise advise on my outdoor tv connections with speakers. Spent way more than what we really needed, because it was just about sells. After spending over $5000, my husband did his research and switched the way they did connections and we saw how we didn’t need a second receiver that was sold to us and he was able to connect all the house speakers exactly how we wanted and not how Magnolia and Bestbuy set up. Will never recommend this service. I just feel like it is all about the sells and not customer satisfaction. We could have had the set up we requested and some items sold but not all. There was also so much lack of communication, we had a total of 3 home visits with 5 different people and still ended without fulfilling my request, yet I spent over $5000 and I already have speakers and a brand new receiver that does more than the receiver sold making. E believe I really needed, and turns out I didn’t so now I have 2 receivers.

Installation

They did a perfect job of centering and tying up the cords so they aren’t seen. Also, they hauled away all of the packaging etc. The remotes were all programmed and ready to watch with instructions on how to get the best picture.

Refrigerator replacement

He was very professional and knowledgeable. He did the set adjustments and explained everything along the way. I would recommend Neil on home installation or service anytime!

Many things went wrong.

Main house refrigerator was brand new but arrived with dents on the outside and inside; I had to convince the installer to use a brand new water line (that I purchased ahead of time at Best Buy with the refrigerator) especially considering my old copper one was bent. The next door house refrigerator is fine. I didn't not need install with that. But washer and dryer got new dents during the process of bringing them into the laundry room. Washer and dryer were not installed because installers did not have the dryer vent and the water hoses that again I had purchased ahead of time when buying appliances at the store.

First i call to have the defective dryer picked up and to have another one delivered. That was done on 10/20 but that one was also not working properly. On 10/21 I called and spoke to 4 different reps. Each did not satisfy my request. Then I looked at the email they send and not only do I do not see the replacement dryer I ordered but I am charged with a restocking fee. I just want an electric dryer.
