Everything was done at Best Buy's Convenience with wide 4-to-6-hour time frame commitments. Site surveys were done by three different associates, but the install was done by someone who had never been to our house. As it turned out he showed with the wrong equipment which required an exchange. The equipment they took from the house was already paid for but no paperwork was created to document the prices of the equipment taken or delivered. As it turned out the installer showed up without the tools needed to finish the job so he had to come back to finish it another time. The install was initially supposed to be free but in the interim they decided to charge us $240. The install was supposed to be completed in one day but since they showed up without the proper equipment and tools they had to come back and decided we should pay for their mistakes. To this day we have not received any paperwork on the exchange, an exchange done without our direct knowledge or consent. Nor have we received an explanation on why we were charged $240 for the installation that was supposed to be free. It is my understanding that Best Buy owns the Geek Squad so I'm thinking of them as one and the same.
