Needed to purchase a new refrigerator. Informed salesperson that in addition to Best Buy, I had three other stores to look at, and it would be a good idea if he didn’t let me leave! Did my research on the refrigerator I wanted, knew it would fit, had the options I wanted etc. Almost completed sale but I still wanted a better deal/discount or I’d walk. He explained no additional discounts were available. At this point in walks Dave Herbison. He asked few questions, to get up to speed, he then professionally, knowledgeably and with courtesy explained what I was getting, why it was a good deal and why I should take delivery of this unit. Even went back over to the floor model w/me to see if there were any other questions. There were, He answered them. I have over 50 years of experience in various retail areas, and I can honestly tell you this, Dave Herbison absolutely has Best Buy’s best interest at the font of his mind. I’ll finish my review with this, if I owned/worked for one of your competitors I’d steal this guy in a heartbeat.

Marvin Cabrera is a superb consultant. I shopped around talking with four different vendors. I selected Best Buy based on him. Great knowledge and perspective. I worked with him in selecting the best possible washer and dryer for our situation moving into a new home. Ultimately, Best Buy matched the lowest priced mainstream vendor. We narrowed our choices based on both our own personal experiences and industry and consumer review information. Finalists: LG and Samsung. NYT Wirecutter and other consumer publications all rated LG the best - with reliability tops. We purchased an LG 4000 Washer and Dryer. We initially signed a contract for a gas dryer and decided to switch to an electric dryer prior to delivery. This required running a 220 volt electric circuit into the garage for overall safety and performance. Marvin allowed us to switch to the electric model at no additional cost. In fact he refunded $100 which as the difference in sales price. Best Buy did a superb installation.

My stereo system was old and some of the components were not working any longer. I was also considering leaving cable and switching to streaming for my tv. I was hoping I could use the working parts of my stereo system instead of buying a completely new system. I was also not sure if both of my TVs would support streaming. I met with Linda Bedbury in the store and then at my house. She presented all my options in a very soft sell manner. She answered all my questions and made sure I was very comfortable with everything before the order was placed. Linda explained everything to me and how both the TV and stereo system would work. Because of Linda's approach and her guidance throughout the process, I was confident I could make the transition. I highly recommend Linda Bedbury and the geek squad. I am extremely pleased with everything they did for me and have been able to make a smooth transition using my new technology.

I called a person and asked for help on setting a few items on my sound bar remote. He took his time, did not rush me and stayed with me until I was completely satisfied. Very impressive.

We contacted the Geek Squad to help with replacing our 10 year old desktop and printer, adding a laptop, replacing our outdated TV, and updating any other equipment in order to use our internet speed. Our consultant spent 2+ hours at our home listening carefully to our needs, checking out our current computing situation, testing internet speed on all floors of our home, and suggesting changes in easy to understand terms. Later we met him at our local store to hear more about the equipment he was suggesting. His recommendations matched our needs and were a good value. We ended up buying $5000+ worth of equipment based on his recommendations. He even drove to a city 1.5 hours away to pickup the TV we purchased since it wasn't in the warehouse that services our local store. Our consultant was thorough, a great communicator, knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend using a Best Buy in-home consultant for major digital changes.

We are loving our new microwave, and also feel secure with our Best Buy membership that if anything goes wrong they will take care of it. Thank you Juan!

Greg was very attentive and patient considering my choices. The order was placed in the store to be delivered. He explained the whole process. The delivery and installation went well.

We were in the market for a new TV and sound bar. We had gone to a Best Buy near us and gotten information about what would work best for us. We had some extra time and decided to go to the Best Buy in Torrance while in between appointments. We had the pleasure of meeting and working with Grace. She was INCREDIBLE! She listened to our needs and was able to create the perfect system for our home. She was courteous, friendly, and extremely knowledgable about every aspect of our system. She even was able to get us a $100 refund a few days later since one of the components went on sale! She was amazing!! If we ever need another TV or other electronics in the future, we will definitely be coming back to work with Grace.

Didn’t really take the time to sell me what I wanted. Did find me a great deal on a receiver. I wanted a in wall setup and was told they would go on sale 1/2 off. They did, but then I realized they wouldn’t fit the current holes I had. When asked to find something that would fit he got all irritated I didn’t want the ones that were “on sale now”. Told him to find me Some and gave dimension. Persisted to explain that the ones in sale were a better choice and less expensive. I explained I didn’t want to add fillers and asked to find me some that would fit. He seemed irritated and told me he would look, never heard back. Ended up getting some Klipsch speakers that were close to exact fit. Spend about 1000 more than the “on sale” setup but was what I wanted him to look for. The two stars are for him not getting back to me and assuming I didnt want to spend more money without at least giving me some Options I wanted. TV he sold me on is great.

Soon after the consultation I chose the complete Sonos System. I am very happy I did. The System is awesome! John's expertise, knowledge, and patience is impeccable. Our Best Buy home expert has been very helpful over the past couple of years. During our most recent store visit and subsequent home consultation, we talked about our needs for several new appliances. He listened, looked at our existing kitchen spaces, took measurements, and followed up with several recommendations for appliances that might best meet our needs. We purchased a refrigerator first and had it installed quickly. It looks so much better than what we had! It is roomy inside and fits the space perfectly. We love it! The installers did a great job, too. Looking forward to finishing the kitchen project soon, thanks to our home expert from Best Buy!
