Our Best Buy home expert has been very helpful over the past couple of years. During our most recent store visit and subsequent home consultation, we talked about our needs for several new appliances. He listened, looked at our existing kitchen spaces, took measurements, and followed up with several recommendations for appliances that might best meet our needs. We purchased a refrigerator first and had it installed quickly. It looks so much better than what we had! It is roomy inside and fits the space perfectly. We love it! The installers did a great job, too. Looking forward to finishing the kitchen project soon, thanks to our home expert from Best Buy!

Dear BEST BUY Customer Service: I was incredibly pleased with the help of your Ken Swanger. He answered all my questions professionally and gave me high confidence that I would be happy with the result. That is the good news! The sad news is that the project should have been completed in one visit after I spoke with Ken. Instead, it took three trips by two different technical teams and ended up costing me an additional $139.00. In summary, and with all due respect, I honestly do not like your business model. It is not customer-friendly, at least in my case! I have recently purchased a new, expensive HP Laptop, a Sony 65-inch, and a Sony 55-inch TV. I am going to have to buy a new refrigerator, but I am having second thoughts about considering BEST BUY, even though I purchased a one-year subscription from your company. Again, with all due respect, this is my honest opinion. In fact, the 65-inch Sony project is still not complete, and I am going to have to have professional help in the future. Sincerely, Larry Suek

Zachary did a great job getting my surround sound system purchase set up for my shop and bar area. The install team did a great job as well.

Highly recommend using In Home Consult if you are setting up anything other than basic TV. I could never have configured my entertainment system in the store or on my own. Here's some decisions made by my consultant: my existing router/ modem is fine, just need to add 2 mesh boxes that will handle the router function. There was only one manufacturer that would meet all my requirements for a TV: viewable from kitchen passthrough as well as LR, allow listening through wireless headset and/or speakers simultaneously or in any combination, minimize visual clutter of speakers and woofer, work with voice commands from multiple sources, etc. I did not need to purchase another wireless headset since I already have one. He suggested putting the TV box and 4K DVD player in closet on other side of the LR wall. Use forward tilt wall mount to minimize glare from indirect sunlight. Recommended changing thermostat to smart one which I can manage by voice command or remotely with cell phone. I can already see that this will save on electric bill. We added Total Protection plan which paid for itself by reducing installation cost of each item to a low maximum. We added a universal remote but voice commands will also perform some functions. Added training to the installation package so I'll be ready to go from day one. I am confident that the package I bought will be precisely geared to my wish list without breaking the bank. Oh yes, my IHC lasted several hours because I had a long list of documented requirements. Patience, humor were on display along with attentiveness to everything I said I wanted. Install is 4 days away and I'm very excited. Absolutely recommend this service.

The expert Lee Mondor was so knowledgeable, helpful, and patient when my husband and i were looking at new tvs. It had been 14 years since we had purchased one. We planned to only look around and I guarantee we would not have purchased anything that day if Lee had not taken so much time to listen and explain all of the features. We ended up having to return our first purchase and while in the store another day asking for help with the return, Lee walked by and recognized me, remembered my name, and took over and helped solve the issue. We didn't have to start all over, she just jumped in and helped us get a new tv. I find all of the new technology so confusing and Lee knew everything about it. It is 100 percent thanks to Lee that we upgraded like we did and we are loving our new LG OLED tv!! The TV is nice but we could have gotten that anywhere. Lee is the one that made the purchase worth it! I can't recommend Lee enough!!

I wanted all new appliances for my kitchen and was completely overwhelmed with the choices available. I set up an in home appointment and was matched up with Chase. He was absolutely amazing. He listened to everything that I wanted, asked some pertinent questions and took measurements. Later that evening he sent me a proposal with everything I wanted. Not only did he find all of my appliances that met all of my criteria, they were also all within my budget. He even informed me of specials that were being offered, and specifically looked for items to help me get more bang for my buck. I told him I was considering a TV also, and that was included in my proposal as well. He met me at the store the following day, had everything available for me to look at, rung it all up - and I was in and out of the store within an hour!! I even contacted Chase when my new fridge was making a loud humming sound, he came out - consulted with a few experts and 2 weeks later I had a brand new fridge delivered!! NO HASSLE!! I don't think I will ever go back to in store shopping again!! Thank you for this awesome service Best Buy!!!

With the culmination of MARCH MADNESS fast approaching, we’d like to use some basketball terms and “M” words to describe our MARVELOUS experience with our personal Geek … BRANDON THOMAS is: *a MASTER at his craft. He knows his job and does it well. *METHODICAL & METICULOUS with each project. He MEASURED twice and cut once to perfectly install an in wall kit as well as a tv wall mount. *he is MILD MANNERED….very pleasant to work with. Brandon is truly a great asset to your TEAM of professionals. He performs at the top of his GAME. He SCORED big points with us by arriving on time and being respectful of our home (removed shoes, cleaned up after the job). We appreciate the time he took to demonstrate how to use the Fire TV remote after installing the Fire stick. He was patient and answered a MYRIAD of questions that we posed. Installation was excellentttttttttttttttttttttttttt

I was recently in the market for a new TV that would be the primary tv for the family. We don’t buy TV’s all that often and we were upgrading from a plasma. We went to our go to Best Buy where we were met by Casey, who has to be one of the most genuine and honest salesman around and just so happens to know a lot about TV’s. He took his time to explain the technological advancements in TV’s since our last purchase (it’s been over 10 years!) and helped us figure out what size would be appropriate for the room. We ended up going with the 65” LG OLED G1 series and couldn’t be happier. The picture quality is absolutely stunning and we certainly will be enjoying it for many years to come. We also purchased best buy’s extended warranty just in case, however, the price point was a tough pill to swallow. Anyhow, working with our local Best Buy and Casey was fun and stress free. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with so many options but Casey broke it down for us and it was smooth sailing. I would highly recommend traveling to the Best Buy Danvers store if you’re in the market for new audio/video equipment. Just ask for Casey and you’ll be good to go! Thank you Casey!

We went to Best Buy to purchase a big screen TV, sound bar, and a rack. Elizabeth and CJ assisted us with all the necessary items that was needed to have the TV set-up in our home. They explained everything to us as how the delivery and the set-up would be. They were able to save us cost in the purchases as well. Elizabeth and CJ were a great team in assisting us throughout the whole purchase. They were friendly and professional. They were both thorough in their knowledge about the whole process, and therefore, 100% excellent service.
