    Z did an excellent job of accessing my indoor and outdoor network needs and then making the appropriate recommendations. My connectivity issues have been resolved for the present and the forseeable future. I am very pleased. I would highly recommend using his services.

    Outstanding consultant for modem and mesh router

    We could not have been happier with the consultant's visit to our house and the outcome. He assessed our needs for a new modem and mesh router set. After measuring the speed of our connections throughout the house he thoroughly explained how our system could be improved, recommended products, and discussed alternative options. He made it easy for us to understand everything, was available for questions after he left, and as soon as we made the purchase he set up an appointment for the Geek Squad to install. He was thorough, professional, and pleasant. I highly recommend him to anyone.

    I needed to replace a Samsung dishwasher with a new Bosch dishwasher. Talked to Thomas Wilson and he verified all I needed to know abut both and organized the delivery and haul away. He is fantastic to work with.

    Excellent Consultation with Jordan

    We were planning for a home theater room and Jordan helped us to design what would work best for the room and for our main living room. He worked with us based on our budget and created a great room which felt like being at the movies. He was also very helpful after we had some unforeseen damage to our theater room due to a storm and helped get repair/replacement and reinstallation of all products. I will likely have them help again for my patio

    Chris is a great consultant listening to my needs and delivering a solution. He follows through with installers to make sure the install is good. All communications are timely. He definitely works hard to earn customer satisfaction.

    We had a complicated set up and the group from Magnolia was really great in trying to figure it all out, it took a few visits but they worked very hard ! The staff from the Nashua store was very professional and nice to work with.

    The Need For In-Home Advisors

    Delroy Vassel; In-Home Consultant/Advisor for Best Buy Magnolia Setup & Installation; arrived at my home on 4/27/2021 at 12PM as promised & proceeded to re-evaluate my Denon AVR - X3700H incomplete setup performed on 4/16/2021 by a Best Buy Geek Squad installer & found multiple errors in how my AVR was connected to my speakers & streaming devices. He recommended the best way for all connections to be performed & ordered the proper audio cables to connect devices that were left unconnected. He also recommended a better placement/setup of my speakers so that I would get the true immersive surround sound that the Denon is known to produce & he also set up a re-installation appointment utilizing a Best Buy Geek Squad technician that is familiar with the intricacies of the Denon equipment & would make sure that everything was working correctly before he left. All of Best Buy's high end/Magnolia products should have the expertise of an in-home Advisor available before any home setup/installation is performed so that it is done correctly the first time. All of Best Buy's Geek Squad Technicians should follow the example set by Delroy Vassel.

    Short throw consultation

    We are considering a short throw system to replace our current TV. Ben was very attentive, answered all my questions no matter technical or not. Suggested additional items that should be addressed, in this case a power surge protection bar. He explained that typically these devices have a lifespan of about 5 years. gave the pros and cons of a short throw in the area where this will be placed. Overall great experience and hope that Ben can help you out as well!!

    The Fixer

    Thank you for sending Jonathan E to configure our home theater system. It turns out the original installers didn't really take the time to configure our equipment correctly hence the reason for the poor quality sound. Our surround sound wasn't turned on and our sound wasn't being transmitted from the receiver to the speakers. After Jonathan completed correcting our setup he took his time to explain in full detail of what was wrong and provided us with a demo as to why our sound quality was so terrible. The before and after demonstrations were like night & day. His after demonstration of choice was Bladerunner 2049 (BlueRay) and during certain scenes he pointed out various sound effects and how the sound was traveling between speakers from the receive an our BlueRay player. After he left we gave him the nickname, "The Fixer" and "The Cleaner" because he was able to fix and clean up the mistakes your installers made. Not to say they did anything wrong, this clearly appears a be an area that they may not be fully familiar with. Our system consist of the Pioneer VSX 834 receiver, 5-Yamaha NS-IC800 in ceiling speakers, Polk Audio PSW10 10" Powered Subwoofer and AT&T UVerse.

    We shop exclusively at Best Buy (Union,NJ) for our electronics ~ can't imagine anyone else having the same knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, informative representatives anywhere! What we like most is that our store representative actually answer all our question that we needed, we made an at home appointment consultation with Jay and he guided us through the whole process. we choose every item we needed to buy for our new home from complete entertainment system, TVs and Cameras. Jay scheduled installations and now we are excited to our house with all the products we wanted. Thanks for your great customer service. I will be returning for future product purchases.

    This was my second time having Edge Cadet as my home consultant. The first time led to an order of a small TV and Roku stick. This time resulted in the purchase of a much larger and more expensive LG TV. I lucked out in having Edge has my consultant. He was attentive to my concerns and needs during the home visit and afterwards in a fairly extended email exchange. I had lot of questions and he was very prompt, detailed, and clear in his answers. There was a problem in processing my credit card to complete the order, which resulted in another home visit. I truly appreciated his willingness to do what was needed to process the order. He has a professional and calm demeanor -- important for a nervous buyer like me. I recommend him highly. (The installation went well too even when the first unit delivered turned out to be defective so another one had to be located.)

    Richard was not only on time (in NYC!), but very professional, engaging, courteous, and responsive. During his visit to my home, he took the time to assess what I wanted to achieve in regard to the installation of two TVs, a home theater system, and my SONOS system. He was also able to suggest options I wasn’t even aware of and to identify bits of hardware needed, All while working with my rather modest budget. Richard also connected me with a terrific installer and the two of them worked together throughout the process to keep everything on track. Bravo!

    We were looking to upgrade our kitchen appliances, after looking around trying different brands and size we got so confused, but thanks to Lorri Shanks a consultant her recommendation and the time she put in to her hard work and recommendations can’t get enough appreciation, she was wonderful and very knowledgeable she work with our budget and the brand we want to completely gave a new look to our kitchen. 100% recommending Lorri for friends and family if they in need to do any changes. And the premier logistic team did the inspection they were so great and good at their Job, Happy customer here. Thanks again Best Buy for having such wonderful employees that they care for the customer. Q

    Our ten-year old Panasonic Plasma TV died during the recent storms so we were in the market for a new TV and possibly a new surround sound system. Romeo was the first person I met in the Magnolia section of Best Buy. I had an idea of what I was looking for but was deciding between a few different brands/models. Romeo was very knowledgeable about the TV's I was interested in and answered all the questions I had at the time. He also informed me about the Total Tech program which was perfect for me since I wanted this new TV to be the first mounted TV in our house. I was not aware of this program so I was very happy that he brought it up. He also answered more questions I had during subsequent visits as well as over the phone. I couldn't have asked for a better rep to help me with my TV and surround sound system purchase.

    Sonos Connect and two Play 1

    Initially stopped at store looking to solve my old stereo equipment and old music collection problem and modernizing it with new technology. Salesperson told me about some options and offered in home consultation in Nashua, NH. Consultation was free. I didn’t know about that service and said yes. I was called same day be scheduler and after a few initial problems scheduling she finally listened and set up a morning appointment for me. David showed up on time for appointment. Seemed like he knew what he was doing. Said he would send me an email with proposal. Didn’t get it for over a week so I followed up. David explained he sent proposal next day but internal system problems created me and some other customers from getting it. He re-sent and I got it. I reduced some of original recommendations and went with Sonos Connect and two Play 1’s. Two Geek Squad installers showed up as scheduled. Installed system and told maybe Connect wasn’t needed but they could work with it. Connected my CD player, Amazon Music, and showed me radio stations. Reminded me that I had Total Tech warranty so to call with any issues. Couldn’t hook up my cassette deck because needed a 3 to 1 connector. Geek Squad rep found one on Amazon for $7 and I ordered it. Now I have it but haven’t been able to hook it up by myself. Also last week lost connection for Sonos. Called tech support and they directed me to Sonos telephone tech support. Woman was helpful troubleshooting problem for me. Told me cordless phone systems Sonos were fighting over the router’s bandwidth. Told Geek Squad could come out again and make sure there are a 2.4 and 5 ghz bandwidth spelled out or something like that. Next step is to have Geek Squad out again to hook up tape deck and see about router bandwidths. A little frustrating that I may not have got exactly what I needed and now I need another appointment for additional problems. Seems like either more product knowledge and/or training could have anticipated these issues in advance. I like the sound of the system.

    Custom install of Entertainment System.

    Working with Rohan & Eddie was an absolute pleasure. They were very knowledgeable about the product, design, and implementation of the project. We replaced the entire entertainment system which included a new TV, 7 wall-mounted speakers, an Amplifier & custom wire installation throughout my home. The job was done incredibly clean and I was very impressed with the final result. Additionally, we discovered after a few weeks that the AMP was glitched and would change inputs randomly. The team replaced the AMP, no questions asked. I would highly recommend them as there is something to be said about working with experts who deliver great customer service. Thank you guys again.
