Our expert arrived on time and was very personable. I enjoyed working with him. I had never had an in-home consultant before. During our visit, he did not answer his phone, explaining we were his primary concern and that he would follow up on the business calls he received later on, after he was done with us. I appreciated that, as taking his calls would have lengthened the appointment. He also said we should expect the same treatment if we were to call after he left. We explained our situation, having bought a TV and a house with previously installed wall/ceiling speakers. We needed to link them together. He recommended a receiver and subwoofer and gave me time to research them further. I ended up upgrading his suggested items and he incorporated the changes over the phone. He then followed up with me to verify when the Geek Squad would come out to install the items and to see if I received the ordered products. He also worked with me to separate the products into two orders to maximize my benefits. I received more than I expected from this free service.

I went through the Total Tech program with Best Buy. It was totally worth it. Steven, a tech working out of the Grand Rapids store covering the Kalamazoo area, met with us for an in store in Grand Rapids for a consult and then met with us for an in-home consult in Kalamazoo and was great in getting us pointed in the right direction for what we wanted in an entertainment system. The techs that installed the system went above and beyond to work with us. When we were not satisfied with the TV that we had, they were able to swap it out for an upgrade the same day. And finally, when I had an issue with a subwoofer (no fault of the subwoofer), the Geek Squad at the Kalamazoo store really took care of me. Really appreciate everyone that worked with us at Best Buy!

It was a delight working with Matt Baker. We had rather unusual request to have two TV that showed the same Power Point presentations at the same time. Matt came up with the solution very quickly. It was also very difficult to find a path to run the wires. We could not figure out how to do it. He kept us informed of the status of our order and it was completed on time and in time for an important presentation we had planned. I would recommend him to anyone and will surely use him next time I have an installation. Kudos to Matt.

Kyle was very helpful, was patient, answered all my questions and made suggestions that I followed. The Geek Squad subsequently installed a large TV (77inches) and a soundbar over our fireplace. The install was perfect, couldn't be more pleased. They ensured that the TV, Soundbar and Cable remote were all synced and working properly. They went on-line registered the product and ensured that the WIFI was connected. In the future I will insist on the Geek Squad and NOT use their outside service provider (had a bad experience!)

Mario was a tremendous asset in helping us choose our replacement microwave/oven combo (which was necessitated because the control panel no longer worked). We were very surprised when he volunteered to come to our house to make sure that whatever we chose to replace our malfunctioning unit would fit in the existing space and that it would be the best replacement option available for our needs. He is not only very knowledgeable about the products but, also didn’t try to “oversell” in order to try to talk us into buying anything else we didn’t need.

We needed advice on how to retrofit a new tv in an existing cabinet and update and simplify our antiquated surround system. We were unsure what size tv would fit and what kind of sound system would serve our needs. Our home expert, Grace, was personable, patient, extremely knowledgable about products and placement. She was a great communicator both before, during and after our appointment. After carefully measuring our space and asking thoughtful questions about how we used our tv, she made excellent recommendations and then helped us with the order process and with scheduling our installation. She made it easy for us and we didn't have to be anxious that the new equipment would fit. We couldn't be happier with the service and with our new tv and sound bar. Thanks, Grace!

Taylor gave me recommendations on placement of TVs near our fire pit and hot tub. He also gave me suggestions for the best tv and mount combination as well as sound bars.

Tanay is the man! Very personable, kind, and helpful. He came to my home, which admittedly I was a bit skeptical about at first, but the approach was great. He suggested multiple products for my needs, measured everything out, and made the vision come true. I also did my research on a different tv and brought it up to him, and he gave a really thorough review and comparison of it to the other tv he suggested right on the spot. We had been looking around at new appliances for our kitchen. While shopping at our Best Buy Store in Joplin MO, one of the sales reps told us of a program they offer where a Home Specialist will come to your home and show you the different products via computer. They will measure the space you have to work with and present you with all the options plus you get guaranteed best pricing. Along with all that, they will schedule a date and time to deliver and install the new appliances and discard the old ones. When the workers leave your home they clean up any debris or boxes. A worry free process.

We needed help with installation of our SmartTV and connection to our DVD player in a closet off the hallway. We also needed help trying to boost our internet signal throughout the house. The Best Buy Geek Squad home consultant was very straightforward and helped us find the most practical and most cost-effective solutions. No hard sell. We decided to use all of the solutions they suggested, and even ended up saving even more money when we went to pay for the services in-store. We were very happy with the installation job they did on the TV and remote DVD player as well as the installation of a mesh network to enhance our wireless coverage throughout the house. Everything is working well and we're very happy overall with the recommendations, service and follow-up we've received.

I called a person and asked for help on setting a few items on my sound bar remote. He took his time, did not rush me and stayed with me until I was completely satisfied. Very impressive.

Greg was very attentive and patient considering my choices. The order was placed in the store to be delivered. He explained the whole process. The delivery and installation went well.

We were totally pleased with Jordan F. Since we had very little tecky experience, Jordan was super helpful in helping us pick the right equipment out for a TV and stereo setup while keeping our budget in mind, And throughout the entire process he made himself available to answer all my questions and concerns. And the installation teams he provided were completely knowledgeable, and definately made several adjustments to make sure it was easy for us to operate and hide all the wires vs the way I had them all cluttered up. I can't say enough about Jordan and his crews , they deserve a higher rating for going above and beyond for customer service when that seems to be lacking these days from most businesses. Once again, they were simply GREAT

Conner was wonderful to work with on the day I came in to purchase my side by side Whirlpool refrigerator. I was not sure my measurements were entirely correct and this was a larger unit than what we purchased from Best Buy 23 years ago. Conner offered to drive to my home to measure my space that day. He came out, measured my refrigerator space and we drove back to the store. Conner was very professional and provided outstanding service to me where I purchased the refrigerator having the knowledge that it would fit and keaving the store with no worries of my purchase. I highly recommend Conner to support you with your appliance(s) purchase!

We have worked with Grant at the Brentwood store a couple times now and have had a great experience. Ben’s installation teams have been on time, clean and respectful of in home, paid attention to the details, and were very clear and patient in their tutorials. With the experience we have had, and add in the ability to finance using our Best Buy credit card, I can’t see us going anywhere else for our tech or appliance needs!
