Consultation lacked knowledge

Also, helped me schedule follow up appliance re-setup appointments. He was pleasant to work with. There were multiple mistakes made during the purchase and I had to spend a lot of time trying to fix some things. eg 1) I clearly mentioned the issue I was facing with dryer was regarding the vent. He could have recommended a side vent install in the beginning itself. The appliance install sent to fix the installation said he won't be able to fix it. Overall, I had to schedule 3+ appointments to finally get the dryer in a decent state. 2) Between the cooking range and the wall there is an extra space which could have been anticipated He also stopped responding to my texts.

Poor coordination of divisions

I had to return to Best Buy store to return an un-needed item. Received first itemized receipt of total purchase there, 2 days after paying credit card bill. Review of proposal price against actual charges revealed an overcharge of $60 for Harmony remote. Could not resolve over phone so made 2nd trip back to store. Store customer service could not make adjustment since In-Home Consultation unit is a separate division and needs consultant to approve refund. Consultant could not be reached! Told, after waiting 30 minutes, that I would receive a phone call later today, after they had contacted consultant confirming refund to my Best Buy credit card. It is now 9:15PM and still waiting. Looks like tomorrow will be my 3rd trip back to store. Poor coordination between units of Best Buy. Also-wall mounted TV installed and box removed by Geek Squad without mention of serial # necessitating lengthly trial and error screen search. Geek Squad should understand that many of us are not techies and have pointed out serial number which is necessary for warranty protection. Overall poor to fair experience-and I'm being generous!

Thanks very much for your feedback about the serial number being hard to find. While it should be listed on the television itself, having that part of the box available sounds like it could be helpful as well.
