KUDOS TO BEST BUY/ GEEK SQUAD !

All communication and follow through were superb. Terry, our consultant from the beginning was prompt, very professional and personable, answered every question and made good, useful suggestions. Benjamin, our installer was incredible. He was very considerate of our time and respectful of our home. When hit with an Internet problem on OUR end he stayed with the job until he figured out how to fix the problem and finish the job ! I fully expected him to tell us that we needed to contact our Internet Provider and that he'd return another day but NOT BENJAMIN ! I will highly recommend BEST BUY/GEEK SQUAD to anyone in need of this type of services.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was impressed how Best Buy's Justin Westcott was able to make recommendations on how I could improve the fidelity and control of my home theater equipment. He pointed out how my speakers were very good quality but because of their size they needed more power. He recommended about a 50% increase in power and chose an appropriate amplifier that would serve this purpose. I purchased his recommendation, a DANON high end amp, and I couldn't believe the improvement it made. Justin also recommended a controller, a ROKU, that could turn my projector into a smart device. I purchased the ROKU for multimedia control and it also works beautifully. I am 100% satisfied

Very Professional

After interacting with them at the store, they came to my house to assess my present set-up and re-explore my needs. This resulted in a modification of my original plans and a better understanding of how relatively newer technology would impact my needs and selection of products. When they returned for the installation of the new equipment, they were efficient, unrushed and took the time to make sure that everything was working as intended before leaving. They left me with their contact details were I to experience any issue.

Home internet functionality

Dean came in to give us estimate and not upsell us on something we did not need. Install was quick, efficient and timely. ( Thanks Jasmin + 1) I got enrolled in some further service connection which I don't know if I will use or not. ( Hopefully not) Everything working as we has planned.

James was a superstar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I worked with James Monteleone from the Greensboro, NC store over the last 8 months in helping me design our tech (tv, wall mounts, internet support for a house we were building and have now moved into in Florida. James help was invaluable making sure that we had the necessary wifi power to run everything we had in the house including a tv mounted outside. And with respect to the mount, James moved mountains to ensure that I got the mount I needed to watch to tv from the patio or the pool. James and the whole Best Buy team did a great job making sure I had the right technology at a great price and no stress.

Personalized advice at no cost
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We were in the market for a projector and we were told about the in home consultation which was free so we decided to have the Best Buy expert come and take a look at where we wanted it. The sales rep set up the date and time and the very next day we received a call from the expert who wanted to go over our concerns. Then we had the consult in the next couple days.. he came on time and answered all our questions and made the recommendations on how to connect our speakers via bluetooth which the projector didn't support directly. We could have made the order right away with him, however our store was out of stock and it would be a few weeks to get it but we wanted it sooner so we chose to go to the store which had the item available. We have since used the projector for a movie night with friends and was pleased.

Great decision

Everyone listened to my situation and needs before recommending any products. Once a budget guideline was determined he walked me through each component explaining features and limitations. Never felt like I was being "sold" something I didn't need. The installation in conjunction with the Geek Squad went smoothly and any snafu's they encountered were handled quickly and efficiently without disturbing either homeowner. They left everything in great condition, cleaned up after themselves and gave me their personal contact information for any questions that I might have later on. I haven't had any. Bret has contacted me a couple of times already to ensure I was satisfied with everything. As I will soon need to relocate things into a new entertainment center, they will be back to disconnect and reconnect everything to ensure it all works seamlessly. Very satisfied with the decision to go with Magnoiia and their consulting services.

Joe is amazing! Great home theater experience

Joe worked tirelessly and made himself available even on days off to make our dream come true . We are so thrilled with the outcome ! The picture and sound are astounding! Joe was right all along ! Go big ! Go loud ! Native 4K on this Sony is unbeatable! Thanks a million Joe!

Upgraded major appliances in small condo spaces

Additionally, I really wanted to replace my 11.6 cu ft fridge, but was concerned a larger one wouldn't fit. With Michael's expertise, he was able to suggest a larger fridge which did fit, so I ended up buying 6 appliances. He researched brands with specific criteria I'd requested and I was able to purchase what I wanted. All fit!!

Best Buying Experience Ever--Bar None
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Every step of the way--from design thru installation--was executed flawlessly by the Magnolia, Best Buy and Geek Squad guys and gals. Our brand new home utilizes two ultra-size, wall-mounted TVs, and a wireless sound system that broadcasts indoors and outside. They came out when the home was under construction to check pre-wiring. They came out again just before installation to recheck everything. They installed efficiently at the appointed day and time, and then came back another day to correct minor glitches in the system. All of the individuals involved were personable and professional in every way imaginable; they were a genuine pleasure to be around To top it all off they even retroactively applied Black Friday price reductions to our order that had been completed a month earlier. I would not hesitate to use this outfit again and wholeheartedly recommend their products and services to anyone in need of high-end audio-video for their home.

In Home Consultation Superstars!

I just finished a remodel of my home and needed help with the installation of my TV and set up. I had just purchased a new Sony 55" tv but wanted to make sure all the components were set up and all the wires were all hidden. I am pretty tech savvy, but I realized it was a matter of time, and dedicating a full weekend to setting all this up was going to be difficult (and a little frustrating). Beatrice, the Best Buy consultant, arrived on time and was very helpful. She took the time to ask me about the setup I wanted and devices our family used and put together a great plan, which was written up by each project and easy to understand. The installer came out a couple weeks later and installed the TV, and set up all the devices and programmed the universal remote system I purchased. Everything works with a click of a single remote... priceless :-) and... he cleaned up and vacuumed the work space. I couldn't be happier.

Oversold but happy.

This was the first time we used the home consultation service which was also fine except the salesman oversold us with products we really didn't need but could afford. We purchased the large Sonos sound bar which cost as much as the T.V. when there were two smaller options we could have purchased for the small room it was being used in. However we were unaware of the other options until we made another trip to Best Buy. Also, we purchased the $200.00 remote control that the installer told us we didn't need as well. Because money wasn't an issue I felt taken advantage of. I trusted what he told us would be best but that was not the case. However, we do love the equipment, and it's just a matter of ethics with me.

Geek Squad Personnel Were Wonderful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Geek Squad people made two visits to our home to install and set up our new TV and DVD player system. The in-home tech people were excellent. Just really excellent. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Our only "beef" was that it took six weeks between the time of purchase and the installation due to lack of staff. That is not the fault of the tech people who finally were able to make it to our home. They were great. Hire more Geek Squad techs if you can, Best Buy. Your customers should not have to wait six weeks from purchase to installation.

Great in-home consultation experience

Glen B. provided an exceptional detailed evaluation at our home. He was very professional and personable in developing a detailed plan and allowed us to make an informed decision without pressuring us. He handled the whole process includiong scheduling 2 different Grrek Squad in-home installations, and followed up on our experience. This is best purchasing & Geek Squad support experience we've ever had From Best Buy!!!
