    overall customer service not great. It took a long time to fill the order, the delivery guys at MM were great, but were not given instruction to reverse swing a fridge door. Consultant totally not helpful, I had to find a church volunteer to do the door switch. just not satisfied at all. Will not go back to best buy or recommend to anyone

    he should have know my universal, receiver, router would not work with the newer technology versus being told on day of install. they need to do more in-depth research when they go to a person's home. not sure I would do it again

    We ended up ordering speakers that installers told us we didn’t need because the consultant didn’t look behind the wall covers to see that there were no cables for the new speakers. The speakers were already installed behind the screen that was already there. We also needed another part that installers told us about at install time and said our consultant should have known to order one. The whole point of having the consultant was to help us do it all at once but ended up needing follow up service appointment. We then followed up with the consultant to ask questions about getting new projector and never heard back.

    Never followed up after his return from vacation

    Enjoyed having someone talk to me regarding a tv. Was going to get in touch with me when he returned from vacation but never heard from him. He had said that he would meet with me at BB but after 2 weeks decided to go myself and picked out a completely different TV

    Help needed with security cameras and recorder

    I have security cameras and the recorder failed. The advisor came out and said best buy does not sell just the recorder and helped me order online from Amazon. Bottom line--recorder not compatible with cameras but I thank the effort by nice advisor Chris.

    Terrible Experience

    In-home consultants came and wrote a proposal for new kitchen appliances. In reviewing the proposal that they gave us we saw that it was incorrect in that it had a regular microwave instead of a convection microwave. This error caused me to think that perhaps I would prefer a double oven. Our consultant was not available for a week and a half and when he came to measure for a double oven he brought his more experienced coworker with him. They wanted us to go to a store that was 45 minutes away from our house to look at product. We agreed and decided to purchase the double oven they suggested. They assured us it would fit. There was supposed to be a pre-measure which didn’t happen because by the time they tried to schedule it, no one was available. The delivery was scheduled anyway. When the new kitchen appliances arrived the installer would not install the double oven because he said it wouldn’t fit and even if it had, he was not capable of doing the work that was necessary for this built in double oven. He said that he was an installer, not a Carpenter, and that he had been told that he would merely have to shave off a quarter inch or so. In fact MUCH more extensive work had to be done. We had been assured by Mike and his coworker that this double oven would fit and could be installed by your installers. We were extremely disappointed and tremendously inconvenienced. The entire experience was beyond disappointing. We feel that the people who did this in home consultation were apparently not adequately trained. We experienced a great deal of inconvenience. It resulted in our going to one of your competitors who had available a Carpenter who could install The oven by doing considerable carpentry work on our cabinetry. In retrospect we should not have allowed any delivery to occur without the pre-measurement but that is why we chose Best Buy because you had an in home consultant. We KNEW that WE did not have enough knowledge about built in ovens to do this ourselves. That is why we came to Best Buy because we thought we could trust you to do a competent job. We were WRONG!! My husband feels that they insisted the oven would fit, without really knowing that it would. They allowed the product to be delivered without a final measurement. This oven was not even CLOSE to fitting into our kitchen. The entire purpose of an in home consultant is to be sure this doesn’t happen. Therefore I would never recommend to anyone that they use your in-home consultant service. In addition we were assured by the home consultant that if there was anything we didn’t like about the appliances that they could be returned and all money that had been charged to us would be refunded. We did get The refund but it was incorrect. We were still missing over $200. The in-home consultant was not at all helpful in getting this corrected. He told us that he could do nothing, that it was up to us, that we had to again travel all the way to the faraway Broadway store and talk to someone in person there. We asked if we could go to the Oro Valley store which was much closer. He said that probably wouldn’t work. We decided not to trust him this time and went to the nearby Oro Valley store anyway. Those people were EXTREMELY helpful. They simply looked at the receipt figured out immediately what probably had happened and spent a great deal of time on the phone getting it fixed. These people, who had not been involved in the sale at all, went out of their way to fix the problems that others had caused. This is the kind of employee that I’m sure you want. They are to be commended.

    I wish he would have mentioned that the appliances can open to the right or to the left. After I called with some concerns after my appliances were installed I was told someone would come back to do this. But I do think it should have been mentioned in the in-home consultation.

    During Covid, Rep who responded located in OH. All communications phone / text / email. Rep started good, then bailed, never responded to further inquiries, concerns, etc., based on I am assuming location in OH (other state). Have not heard from him since initial purchase.

    The installation went alright. The installers were nice. I wouldn't say they were the most knowledgeable. They were supposed to install biamp and did. However they didn't get the settings right and the receiver went into safety mode, so they just clipped the wires and left. The tuning was comically off, with one speaker being set to +9 and the other, equally distanced, speaker set at 0. I have tried to get this remedied through best buy. I have visited the store multiple times and received no solutions.
