    The in-home consultant forgot about picking up my equipment from the store and didn't notify me. He did no respond to my messages or calls. When the installers came for our appointment, we had to reschedule. Other than that, he was knowledgable about the products he demonstrated.

    Arrived on time. Reviewed my needs and made suggestions. Ruled out things I wanted due to site issues (were not warranted). Promised same day quote-followed up a day later. After consult was too busy to followup wiht me: left purchase and technical concerns to geek squad and installers.

    CONSULTANT FAILED TO GIVE SALESMAN RECOMMENDATIONS

    SALESMAN SELECTED A MACHINE THAT WAS OVER-SIZED AND IT HAD TO BE RETURNED. CAUSED US AGGRAVATION, GRIEF AND TIME LOST UNTIL BEST BUY CORRECTED THE ERROR SATISFACTORILY. DON'T LET SALESPERSON ACT INDEPENDENTLY IF IN-HOME CONSULTANT FAILED TO DO HIS JOB AND CONSULT THE SALESPERSON.

    Dispatch the correct tech

    We wanted to know options for a new refrigerator. The technician sent did not know much about Appliances. He confirmed the measurements I had made and suggested I go to the Oakdale store to talk with Adam. Adam was knowledgeable. But could not tell us what the installers would do. 3 calls to Adam have gone unanswered. After the sale is made there is no support from Best Buy.

    The Geek Squad agent was very polite and professional. He explained everything that he would do and said he would get back to me with the price estimate. This has been several months and I am still waiting to hear from him or see the estimate.

    I had a consultation to purchase kitchen appliances, TV, electronics, and have them installed in my home. The consultation did not go as smooth as I would have wished; resulting in delays and an issue in the installation of one TV.

    The first part went well, 2nd part not so much

    The WiFi system hook up and Sonos amp, connects all went good. Two of the outside speakers didn’t show up, they told me they would get back to me, 2 weeks and I hadn’t heard anything. I tried to text and call the advisor multiple times with no response. Communication is bad at best. He calls today and said he would have an answer for me today, end of the day still no response. I did get a notification for a new install date, another 3 weeks out. I will probably just cancel and get my money back. I’ve spent probably $15,000 at Best Buy in the last 12 months, this might be my last.

    We had Ken come out to do a home consultation. He sent us the estimate and after a couple of weeks we decided to go with it. They came out and said they did not have one of the rooms on the work order. So I had to reschedule for them to come out on another day. That was scheduled by the area supervisor. I also told him we do not believe the new WiFi setup was not working properly. The area supervisor told me he might be able to look at it when he came out to reset the tv up that was missed the first time. Of course he could not do it because that was not on the work order. I would not recommend the Geek Squad to set up systems like this. Customer service is awful!

    Wanted an easy solution for a family room. JR was great and got me the OLED TV I wanted, along with the powered KEF speakers to minimize total equipment needed. He is also the one who informed me of the expanded selection he can order from that is NOT visible on the Best Buy site. Best Buy should find a way to advertise this as I almost purchased elsewhere for the KEF LS60 speakers.

    I gave it 3 stars due to the issues, inconvenience, frustrations I had when refunds for returned/missing items were and have not been given on a timely basis. I have had to spend too much time trying to get things rectified and still have unresolved issues.

    Purchased a home wired for sound that is failing. Asked for an in home consultation to review existing systems and make recommendations for replacement / consolidation etc. Tech rep was unable to make a recommendation as Las Vegas Best Buy doesn't have a magnolia Div to handle in home AV
