Had a solution based on Best Buy inventory before he arrived. Install required me to do some work after the installer left. Battery problem was dumped in my lap the next day. Store personnel were great.

Average at best

We visited each room of the house, talked about my network/wifi setup, appliances, smart home tech, etc. The tech mentioned one idea to improve on but that was it. I had to really dig some suggestions out of him.

Anthony arrived at my house and immediately gave me options. I had to remind him a few times of my budget, because it seemed like he was trying to upsell me. We finally agreed on a fridge in my price range, and he was so fast that he messed up and had to re-do my order. When the fridge was delivered, the delivery men had to remove my baseboards and the fridge barely fit. Anthony also failed to notate I needed my fridge to open right to left, and so the delivery men had to change that as well. I was really disappointed with Anthony but very impressed with my delivery men, Pascual and Steven.

But the day of the appointment he called and cancelled. He said it wasn't necessary as I already bought the product. I guess, I should have called before buying my Router. Thanks Best Buy.

Good start; poor follow through

When the install of our home theatre ran into some glitches he has there to assist, he even came out on an emergency service call. After the reinstall of our equipment. The service level dropped. Christian di not return texts or phone calls and I had to rely upon Best Buy’s 1-800 service call center. Our issues still have not been resolved and answered so we are left to wait in the service queue. I’ll consider a smaller, local retailer for future purchases even though they will be more expensive.

Consultation

Incomplete Installation

Rushed service call with inadequate time allotted in tech's scheduke has tied me uo for over a week with only a partially working system. Numerous contacts (phone and text) to Installation Sales staff and install Tecnician have me still waiting for a return visit to address ethernet connections and Sonos setup. Just want you to be aware so you can get things right and allow me to write a good review.

I requested my proposal to be sent to 2 different emails never could get that figured out. Very disappointed with lack of follow up. So I spent my money somewhere else

Have not heard back

However, I have still not received or heard anything over two months later.

We reviewed all options for my custom installation and I was referred to the Pasadena Center to have access to the most options. My consultant was courteous and a pleasure to work with.

The concept of In-Home advisor is a great benefit, just need to be sure advisor is knowledgeable of the products they are selling.

I'd to follow up a few items to get the details

Came on time, suggested a few options and told me to expect email on that. 2 days, no response, no email. I'd to call a couple of times, finally got the email with the options.

Ring
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hello Curtis, Overall, the Ring doorbells and garage light are working fine, as far as the sensors abd outdoor garage light. My only concern now is, when someone comes to our front or back door and push the ring button, we don't hear anything inside to let us know someone is at the door. This is one of the main reasons we purchased this system . Please let us know what can done to resolve this. As of right now, we still don't know when someone is at out door. Absolute Disaster Working with Best Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an inhome consultation and specified I needed a lap top instead of a desk top as I needed the touch screen. The computer arrived without a touch screen. It was a nightmare starting with geek who arrived to install the machine as we learned there was no touch screen on the computer. Plus I overpaid for a graphics card I didn’t need because I never play games. Then I couldn’t get the credit back even though the installer took the computer back with him. The whole ordeal was a night mare. I still didn’t have the credit back for the machine even three weeks after its fail installation. I had to make numerous calls to get the credit back. In summary, four major errors from the techs who came for the install: 1. No touch screen (the whome reason I wanted the machine) 2. Paid $200 extra for unneeded graphic card 3. Weeks to get the credit back only because I kept callinf and it just wouldn’t post and 4. Promised calls to help me get the right machine and apology from office manager never was received. Not to mention all my wasted time which means wasted $$$$ as I couldn’t bill my clients and no working PC. It was a disaster and to this date, two months later, I still don’t have a new PC. Best Buy just doesn’t care about customer service. AGAIN A TOTAL FAILURE

Jeff Kramer in appliances

I had been to 2 other stores and had a salesperson take a personal phone call and walk away never to return and another store not able to fill my order. Went to Best Buy and Jeff was easy to work with and even was able to get my delivery date earlier than promised. Delivery people did a great job also.
