Bad experience

Back and forth calls with total tech was the worst experience. Made over 10 calls with no resolution. I am new to total tech. I purchased my washer somewhere else. The home expert person on vacation, his backup never returned calls. I had a problem, I told him., nevervreturned my several calls to him. Poor customer service. No one tries to resolve the issue, I am continually referred to Total Tech, who cannot get the big picture of my issue because my issues are on different numbers. What a joke. I am a senior and I have never had such a bad experience like this. AND THE CUSTOMER HAS TO DO IT ALL TO RESOLVE. I pay for a service and this is not a good service. One person helped me, Christopher from Diakon Due to damages. I am am still working with him, he truely cares about the customer. I had issues with the delivery company, they were at my home twice. They hauled away my old machine before a new one was delivered, etc etc. I coukd go one and one.

Lacking consultation and incomplete installation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though it was an in-house consultation which involved assessing my speakers and subwoofer setup, when the tv and sound System was delivered and installed the delivery team said that 2 more parts needs to be ordered. So it was an incomplete installation. So now I have a tv and a sound system but they are not fully connected and does not work.

Not worth it

There are many ways we may be able to work to execute your desired installation while also attaining to a set cost goal. Great visit, still waiting to get an anything
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was initially very pleased, but it has been 6 weeks and I still cannot get the approved recommendations completed. Had horrible issues getting a response to my numerous messages and I’m told only the consultant can set the appropriate appointments. When I called geek squad again, they booked an appointment telling me it would all get done, only to find out that I was booked yet another consultations. I realize now I should have taken it so I would have a different contact to work with...but now I am still waiting and frustrated.

Excellence from start to finish

He helped us selectwhat we wanted while keeping us in our relative budget, which was much appreciated - he didn't try to "sell" us but actually wanted to help! The installation went very well too and the installers were timely, kind and competent. We are glad to have people with Best Buy that we trust to plan and purchase from again in the future.

THE WORST
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We had THE WORST experience with Mike Anderson. If I could give this rating 0 stars, I would. Mike was nice enough and personable when he came to our home to sell us a new range and microwave. From the moment of sale onward, we literally never heard from him again. He failed to properly explain the process that needed to take place in order for our new range to be installed. As a result, our oven was delivered and left in my garage because the existing range needed to be disconnected. It would have been nice if Mike explained this to us. Then, we had to reschedule delivery for a second time, and delivery was a NO SHOW. They literally left plugs on my porch because they assumed we were not home. They did not ring the doorbell. I tried many times to contact Mike but he ignored ALL of our calls. I am so dissatisfied with this entire process and feel that Mike could care less how things went after he got our sale. I sincerely hope that upper management reads this honest review and takes my feedback and experience into consideration. As a result, I will not use Best Buy in the future and I will share my experience with family and friends.

I went to the store and Brandon, my consultant, was there and found me another tower that I have received already. He canceled the one that had been ordered also. Thank you for all your hard work.

I got some answers but things went very quickly

I had to install XboX

Sales person Jaime was great and helpful. Came back to correct volume, and was willing to look into Xbox connection.

Our consultation with Javier Davila

Mr. Javier Davila was very helpful and knowledgeable . He suggested the Eero Pro E Band mesh Wi Fi System and when it was installed ..it worked perfectly. We now have Wifi in all our rooms working great!

It was an excellent overall experience as we were well advised by the expert Scott Schnabel and we got the best deals and great service and excellent installation support. Incomplete

However, he didn't send a quote with options, as we requested, and almost a month later, we're still waiting on a response to our reply to the quote.

Home Theater Very Disappointing

So far the first two appliances (waiting on last two) are working out well. Unfortunately that can not be said for the home theater. Install went well, but I am plagued with voices out of sync with picture on screen that is maddening! First call to Geek Squad, that I bought into, I was asked “had I checked all the cables?”... something I thought I was NOT going to have to think about anymore, and there are lots of cables, I wouldn’t know what I was “checking” for!! After much I insistance I was given an appointment almost 2wks away. When Geek Squad arrived I was first told “oh, you have an LG tv (55” brand new smart tv that worked perfectly until I spent lots of $$ on this theater thing!) and that they sometimes have these issues...wouldn’t the original Home consultant, who checked the tv and placement, have said something like “hey with that LG tv you may have issues when the home theater goes in”...or the fellows doing the install who mounted the big new LG tv on the wall and connected it up to all this stuff...that did not happen. So now I’ve had to make another call, make another appointment and wait more to have what I paid for, tv and movies I can really enjoy! I’m not a fan of this so far and if it doesn’t work after this time I’ll be calling to exercise my 90 day return option, that would be quite disappointing but I’m not paying to frustrate myself!

No follow up….and I wanted to spend money.

Rep came out, I got a quote, but I needed to check with cable provider regarding possible hardwire set up in one area. Sales rep knew it would be 1-2 weeks before I made final decision. Since then it has been silence. I have. Allows multiple times, emailed, even got name of a second sales rep. He said he would call me for updated order. Again no follow up. I guess they have more business than they need. Feel like I have been ghosted. I want to buy equipment to upgrade, with a few minor changes from original order, but literally cannot get anyone to respond to me to make changes and order. Not a huge order but still over $3,000. Luckily I am not in an immediate need situation. Maybe this review will prompt someone to actually get back with me so I can get items ordered. Or maybe I’ll just go somewhere else when I really need to buy.

Home Consultation Is Horrible

The representative had to reschedule because of a family emergency and when he did come he may have been at my home for 2 minutes. Eventually, sent me a quote, after I had to follow back up with him because I hadn’t heard anything. I spent over $1,000 for the Yamaha receiver with installation. Geek squad came and the receiver that was recommended would play the same thing outside and inside including the volume levels being the same. Had to cancel installation and now I’m looking at a receiver that’s not installed and having to spend an additional $400 per the Geek Squad recommendation on a connector with volume. Very, very unhappy and would recommend no one to use their FREE home consultation service again because they don’t have the time nor does it seem they are qualified. Everything free isn’t good, and this is one of them Was told that the manager would be contacting me because he was on PTO, haven’t heard from anyone, but not surprise.
