    I Purchased LG Gallery Series TV from Bestbuy in Feb. 22, 2022. Satisfactory installation was completed April 2nd, 2022. Best buy staff either did not product I purchased or did not properly guide me in Installation. I had to pay 3rd party electrician more than twice what the staff informed me. Staff came to my home to review installation But did not inform me properly the installation process.

    The delivery, assembly, and setup occurred like clockwork. The technicians were knowledgeable and efficient. My only disappointment is that one of the units I purchased underwent a significant price reduction within a week of delivery, which I could not benefit from.

    Getting a hold of people for this process is a pain. The follow up after was a bit pain. I ended up having my electrician wire the cameras and I purchased all the cameras from a different vendor and decided to install myself. The person I spoke with, Evan, was extremely knowledgeable and the service Best Buy offered has promise. Just really poor follow up. I am also buying stereo equipment - that unfortunately will be purchased elsewhere and

    Misleading consultation. Extremely disatisfied.

    So glad you asked!!! The Best Buy representative promised detailed support for my "cord cutting strategy" and in setting up security for a new fiber optic internet access to replace my current ISP which is bundled with my cable access. Lot's of big promises, No delivery. The representative recommended that I purchase networking equipment from Best Buy and create a prioritized list of TV content/programs. From there the rep would walk me through the install and help map out where to stream content from alaong with needed subscriptions etc. The equipment arrived but the representative disappeared. Calls were not returned. We never got to the home network/security part. I contacted Best Buy directly and they were able to get the representative to call me back. Again, another promise but no delivery. So I have a box of network equipment, no security for my fiber network access and no plans for cutting the cord. Not to mention now I have a fiber network connection (an additional cost) AND I still have to maintain my cable subscription. I could not be more dissatisfied and I feel I have been duped. I am not very tech savy. I would not have begun this project were it not for the support and promises of Best Buy. If family or friends were to ask me about this service I would tell them to run in the other direction. I should note the Rep that came to my home was accompanied by a trainee. I can only imagine.

    We needed TV’s after relocating from Phoenix. Our agent Afton was great to work with from selecting the right TV’s and sound system to arranging the installation. The installers, Kurt and Rambo, are excellent at their jobs. All in all this was a very easy process.

    The employee came to my home and talked about home automation, I also met him at the store but nothing really resonated and we didn't buy anything. Too focused on a particular brand.

    Overall, pretty helpful. One thing I would caution, they recommended some of the higher priced items which I found unnecessary. Bottom line, it helped me get where I needed to go.

    My consultant has terrible communication.

    Incredibly disappointed with the consultants lack of communication, same day cancellations, and no update on rescheduled appointment. On numerous occasions I reached out to my consultant, Richard Pratt, and my text messages and phone calls were not returned. I would not recommend using this consultant.

    Ashley did a great job at our home visit and sale of product. After spending 6,000.00 and problems with delivery, she never returned ANY of our numerous calls. Very disappointed!

    Receive a call from "home expert" a day before scheduled visit wondering if we could figure out what I needed over the phone. I gave him information and he answered all my questions. He suggested a certain type of router different than what I wanted but told him I would consider his advice. I was promoted a quote with possible discount for recommended router but have not received anything up to this review. In the end bought a router elsewhere.

    As I previously posted, Best Buy sent out three techs, each of whom had a different approach to a difficult home wi-fi set-up. Netgear's orbi failed (yes, literally failed), so we scheduled this IHA based upon the store's recommendation. The IHA made a proposal, which we would have signed and paid that night, but she couldn't deliver a deal to sign. It took a week to get a written proposal, and some questions we had never got answered. The IHA office refused to have anyone intervene. The store then sent a Geek, who essentially did a 2nd IHA, and he scheduled a subsequent visit to do the install. Then we got switched at the last minute to a 3rd guy. In the end, it would have been better to simply have a tech come out with an assortment of products, test various approaches, and when a winning approach is discovered go with that. I did not need 3 separate visits to my home. And neither does Best Buy, because we essentially only paid the minimum installation fee. The IHA proposal was 3 eero pros and 4 eero beacons. The second tech recommended six eero pros. We ordered a bunch of stuff, and the tech who did the installation (who did a great job) used 3 eero pros and 1 beacon. (We returned the balance; yet another visit to the store.) And don't get me started on our recent issue of getting Best Buy to price match its own price. Nor get me started on my various attempts to get someone, anyone, from Best Buy management to intervene. Here we are, ready to pay retail and ready to pay whatever it cost for a successful installation and we had trouble getting Best Buy to take our money.

    Hello...Is Anybody Out There?

    So, after having one scheduled appointment cancelled by Best Buy, and having the assigned Home Expert changed twice, I finally had my in-home consultation. The home consultant arrived at my home at the appointed time, and was very engaged while she was here. She left, and advised me that she would be getting back to me after talking with some of Best Buy's tech experts on our requirements. That was it. No follow-up, ever. Despite my reaching out by calling the home consultant directly (and leaving a VM message), I never received any follow-up. So, I engaged a local tech professional who is both knowledgeable and professional; and most important of all responsive. Best Buy lost a project that is costing five figures. I want to do my part to keep Best Buy profitable, because I like the company and believe they provide an excellent alternative to Amazon (and we certainly need competitive alternatives). But, with this type of failure to follow-up and execute, I fear that Best Buy is headed in the wrong direction.

    BB assistance in ceiling audio system

    We were looking into in ceiling audio options without much knowledge or experience. Best Buy (especially Genesis Mora) was crucial in advice, planning, and suggestions with optionalilties. We are now enjoying the audio system more than anticipated and expected!

    I went in person to schedule a visit to evaluate moving a modem in my home. The person at the Geek Squad desk scheduled an in home evaluation. That person called the day before the visit and determined he was not the person who should come out. He then got another appt. scheduled with installation person. A few days later they called and said no one at this Best Buy Store could perform this process of moving a modem. They said I needed to get my provider to do this. My provider said that they did not do that. So I was left in the middle. I eventually pushed the provider and they did move it. I cannot believe the Geek Squad could not do this for me however. Seems that would be something they do daily in order to provide better coverage in homes. So I never got the in home service you are not asking me to review. So again your records seem to be inaccurate. I was disappointed in the service I got from Geek Squad because the wrong person was scheduled to come out initially and it took approximately a month before it was determined that you could not do the needed work. That was a month of poor or no internet service in my home That I could have been finding another solution.

    My advisor did not follow through

    My advisor was rushed and distracted when he met with us. He did not followup or ensure things went smoothly. He said he would be onsite for installation, but did not contact us or show up. He promised a $50 credit for delays and inconvenience, but never processed the credit. There were other issues. I probably will not be using the Best Buy advisory service again.

    Great mesh network

    Bought eeros to create wi-fi mesh network for house. Very easy to use and signal is strong. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is that at first the installation of the system created IP conflicts with my Fios router and eeros support staff didn't recognize this. On the other hand the eeros people were always available on the phone and were trying - seems it was tough to diagnose this issue remotely. After many hours of experimenting and searching Google i figured it out myself and now everything is working great.

    The duo you sent over were great. They effortlessly put together the system and I was able to get all the variables I thought of resolved in a flash. They were knowledgeable, well mannered, pleasant and left the site tidy as if they hadn't been there. Super guys!

    Good start, no so hot follow up

    Started well. Ordered all that we wanted. Installation has been poor. The installation was not completed. Follow up appointment to complete installation was made then cancelled without any notification. No reason given for cancellation. Waited at home and installer never showed. Waste of my time. No further follow up appointment has been made in almost a week. Called store and no immediate help. Didn't like harmony controller - no voice commands. Want to return it but again no word on how to do that.

    Luca was fantastic. Recommended the right TV and desktop and arranged all deliveries and installation except for the start up of my iMac.
