The In-Home Consultation is WORTH IT
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mike was AMAZING...he helped me so such to shop for the right appliances for my new home. Without his expertise and consultation, I would have bought items too big for the space and would have to go through the hassle of exchanging everything. Mike is professional and made the consultation process fun - it was like shopping from home but with an expert in front of you to assist. Once done, he was able to order everything that we discussed right in my kitchen including setting up the delivery & installation date.

Our Installation Was Enjoyable and Pleasing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Our Best Buy / Greek Squad installation had to be handled in two appointments to accommodate the fact that my sound bar and sub wolfer were delivered after the main part of my purchases for my new TV system. Mr. Albert Street, who is an approved Best Buy / Geek Squad outside vendor, did an excellent job. He looked out for my best interest. He installed the balance of the system like I was hi favorite old 80 year old Uncle Joe. His ideas were creative, attractive and money saving. He made it so I definitely feel good about returning to Best Buy for more purchases and installs.

Quality and Professionalism

Alisha was very helpful and communicated every step of the way. She found us the best deals and set us up with professional installation. I highly recommend Best Buy and Alisha Sexton!

Professional service

Everything was explained, ordered, delivered and installed with expert detail. The crew from all the installs explained everything along the way and were quick and professional. TJ handled everything, assuring us that all would be done within a perfect time frame.

Our consultantation was a huge success

Our Bose was bought in 1998 and was ready for replacement. Our consultant was very knowledgable describing all of the systems available recommending a Sonos sound bar and speakers. We purchased an entire system, Best Buy installed it and explained how to use it. The consultant left us his contact number and did indeed return our calls. We got a bit confused after the installation and called them to ask questions. They returned to our house and answered some more questions. We could not be happier with the consultation and installation, it is the best sounding system I have ever heard, and I'm 80% deaf. Thank you Best Buy!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am grateful for the professional help that I have received from the Total Tech Care staff as they assisted me in "cutting the cord" from the big Internet/TV providers who continued to over charge us while making it nearly impossible to get to a "human" to make changes...It has been SO worth it! I especially appreciate Alec who came all the way from Roseville to help with a few issues on short notice. He even emailed me to follow up after, answering a few extra questions...He needs to be PROMOTED! :) Thanks again to all of the agents who help us "less tech savvy" people make the transition!

In-home consultant worked hard and was patient
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My in-home consultant was excellent, but achieving a result was hampered by limitations of the equipment from Sony and the URC remote control. It took four installation visits and about five weeks to achieve a stable operating system with a simple set up. The length of time was in part affected by vacations and illnesses of personnel. it was very frustrating and disappointing.

Best of the Best Buy

The 2nd installers were great too. Damian did a fantastic job and even spent extra time showing me how to us my receiver and surround sound better than expected. This is our second home to have surround sound installed by Best Buy and the Geek Squad. thanks again for a great experience.

Love our TotalTech and all it brings with it

A home evaluation was suggested. Joe Good came to our house, evaluated our space and sold us the TV. He scheduled the installation as well added other tasks to the installers list. The installer, Keenan, came to the house as scheduled. He communicated excellently prior to and during the visit. He did all the tasks we asked of him and made sure we were comfortable with working the TV. Overall they did a great job!!

Appliance Delivery

After 3 failed attempts, he was finally able to arrange for my washer and dryer and refrigerator all to be delivered on the same truck. The previous trucks had gotten lost due to the fact that my address does not come up in GPS yet, but Jacob was finally able to give them directions to get here. He also got a manager involved in the situation, which was a very big help.

Service that exceeded expectations

Our experience with Danny and the rest of the team exceeded expectations by a couple orders of magnitude. Danny listened to our goals and then created a home cinema solution with automation that fit our budget, and yielded an amazing audio-visual experience. Throughout the process from ordering through installation Danny remained in contact to provide order status and to coordinate installation. The installation team was just as professional and easy to work with. We could not be happier with either our home theater or the customer service experience.

Simply Amazing!

It’s a smart home that came with a high end internet system (Ruckus) I didn’t know how to set up or use. Xfinity couldn’t help either. Anthony came over and referred me to the magnolia department. Long story short, I was set up with professionals that understood my system and knew what I needed for it. I went back to Anthony for a washer and dryer. There were a few hiccups with the appliances but Anthony stayed the course with me. He made sure everything was taken care of. I highly recommend him! He’s professional, easily accessible, and provides excellent customer service. I plan on reaching out to him whenever I need electronics and appliances for my home! He’s awesome and the main reason I’ve been shopping at Best Buy.

Home consultation makes everything easier.

Now that we have used it I only wish we had known before. Dave was amazing. He helped us with everything about the refrigerator, and then proceeded to help us decide on some home theater things and a washer and dryer. He was so knowledgeable about everything and really made the whole experience a breeze.

Chris was very professional and he listened to the goal that I wanted to achieve. All this happenend over the phone and text messages. What a awesome experience. Easy and great value!

We recently moved and wanted to get security cameras and TVs wall mounted in a couple of rooms. Travia came out at our convenience and provided good advice and recommendations based on our needs and budget. He helped us to schedule both installations on the same day. He kept in touch through the process. I recommend getting Totaltech and having a consultation. We are so happy with our choices!

Amazing experience!

It was a large, multi room job and he was able to not only simplify the process, but made sure I was getting the best deal on every component. I highly recommend him for any of your home theater/ stereo needs! Best Buy, you're lucky to have such a dedicated and passionate employee! p.s. The installers were absolutely amazing as well!

Whole house sound and media room connection.

Bluetooth on the receiver was a great addition to our old amp. Playing music off our iPad or iPhone is much easier. We also caught a great sale price on the Denon receiver. Having the Tech Service with our other purchases made this install perfect. Thanks to Bryan and Vincent for a great experience.

Happy with final product but Service had friction

The rep was on time, very polite, listened intently on what we wanted and provided a thorough proposal. No issues at all with this and would recommend. The not so good. I came into BB to purchase stereo equipment a few days before our appointment. I was not looking to have a consultant involved, but the BB store did NOT have any equipment that I was interested in (receiver and speakers) and the AV manager pushed me to have a consultant involved. I agreed but at no time was there a obligation mentioned that I had to purchase equipment through the rep. So after reviewing the proposal and looking at the BB online stores, I could not find the receiver or a version of the speakers that was recommended (all out of stock or not carried). So I purchased the receiver and speakers directly from the manufacturer. Again, not knowing I had a obligation to buy from the rep. I did purchase the other remaining equipment outlined in the proposal from BB (outside speakers, center speaker and selector switch), And when it came time to have BB support come assist with setup, the rep was not very concerned with my request (and told me that since I went around and purchased myself, she did not have an obligation to assist going forward). At that point, I was fine with this and just went to BB directly and scheduled a Geek Squad team to assist with the install (which they did and I was very pleased with their work). Anyways, I am happy with my purchases so far but I feel like the rep should had made clear what my obligations are as a buyer if I use this service (again, I did not seek this out, I was pushed into it via the AV manager).

Great Service !!!

Staffen Hollis helped us pick out the right equipment for what we were looking for and coordinated the installation. He is an extremely knowledgeable, patient and polite associate for Best Buy and enjoyed doing business with him. Thanks again Staffen!!!
